Service was excellent! Food cooked at time of order, always a plus for me. My first time eating Harold's, the chicken was a little salty for my taste, but it was nice and crispy. The fried okra was really good. They were out of fries.

I had my first Harold's chicken experience yesterday. The best fried chicken I've had in any restaurant! It was busy and the food is made to order so we had a bit of a wait but I didn't mind. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Recommend - but don't go if you're in a rush. :)

Okay, I read a lot of bad reviews and I personally don't see the justification. I waited 5 minutes for my food and it was excellent. Also, the service was good and the employees were pleasant. I highly recommend Harold's Chicken. Come try it and see what you think.

Good chicken is worth the wait, unfortunately Harold's is not. The staff at Harold's is quite iffy and the clientele worse, it is unfortunate, but other Harold's locations do a lot better at making sure guests are taken care of. Although Harold's has been a staple in Chicago's South Side for years, it doesn't seem to work in Eastern Iowa, at least not yet. A menu change, mores sauces, and a focus on good hospitality and customer care will put this place back on the map as what it once was: one man's endeavor to share his crispy creations, without regard to fancy fixins.

Food So Good, It pulled everyone in my house off the diet for at least 3 weeks. Great Food and my 2 year old Son loves their Fries. I can't wait to go back in to make a purchase.

6 wings were cooked fresh and tasted delish. Would definitely recommend to Family and friends. Staff were professional and the gentleman (James) whom waited on me even offered me a complimentary soda as I waited. I will be a return customer

Several incidents of food poisoning in my friend group, including myself. After the incident with their customers getting in a shoot out out side of the business, I don't even want to risk my life to give them a second chance. Would recommend KFC over this establishment.
