Joensy's Restaurant

Friendly staff. Food was delicious! My husband is from Iowa and while driving thru we found this place. Our teens had the burgers and they said they were really good. Pork tenderloins come in 2 sizes...and do not be fooled but the term "small" because its basically large and jumbo for sizes lol. Criss cut fries and tots were both awesome too. Oh....and their prices are so low its ridiculous! Not sure how they can charge so little!

I had Hot Roast Beef sandwich it came with mashed potatoes. Hubby had the chicken fried steak that came with mash potatoes and corn. The mashed potatoes were REAL not a dried mix. The bread is Texas bread. My hot roast beef sandwich was daily special - for under $8.00 I got the sandwich and a drink. That is a bargain. I do not know of any other place from the east coast to here that has sandwiches for that price and a drink too. Also had the cheddar cheese bites they were great too. We come to Cedar Rapids once a year for the month of May to visit family. We will be back to Joensy's next year for sure. Thank you for great food at great prices. They have friendly staff and service is fast.

Love these Mom and Pop Restaurants. Had a home cooked meal of homemade Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. Tasted pretty dam good. I will definitely be paying this place a lot of future visits. They are pretty known for their tenderloin steaks on this side of Cedar Rapids. The Restaurant is for dine in and take out. Comfortable atmosphere and very calm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with smiles. If u haven't been here, take my word for it...its good!! Prices are very nice for the food and service u get. Check em out. You'll be glad u came and so will ur taste buds. Great Job Joensy's!!
