This restaurant is on top of their game! It’s definitely the busiest place to dine in cave city and the staff are very efficient and friendly. There is a lot of food options on the menu and everything is very reasonably priced. They also bring you free chips and salsa when you first sit down, I have to say I didn’t love the salsa but everything else was great. I got the Mexican salad and my partner got the fish dish, everything was tasty and fresh especially good value for the price we paid.

Wow! Did not see this one coming. By far the cleanest and nicest establishment in the entire town. Food was good. Restaurant was impeccably clean and service was the fastest that I have ever had in my life. The bathroom was incredible! By far the best was a macho mug of Dos Equis for $5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

El Mazatlan was a great place to eat what I considered to be 'authentic' Mexican cuisine. Service was quick and friendly. The prices were fair but not high. As a side note, I ordered grilled Jalapeños (not on the menu) as a side and they were delicious. Highly recommend this establishment if you want south of the border flavors.

Great Mexican restaurant with unique options and lots of variety. I ordered the shrimp Piña Fajita—fajita ingredients inside a carved out pineapple! I don't usually love fajitas, but this was amazing. My husband got an amazing dish served in a hot bowl made of real lava rock, which was really cool! The guac was great too. Great place to eat in this little town!

We had a lovely lunch here. The food was fantastic! Very well priced. The kids all enjoyed their meals. The Margaritas were awesome. The server was helpful. The salsa was on point. The take out was going the whole time we were there. Definitely a busy place.

OUTSTANDING! The food is really good and the presentation of the food is just beautiful. That is a great part of dining for me. The outdoor patio is a great environment, especially with pets. Service is quick. The servers are authentic, respectful. They are all about business, not trying to drum up larger tips. Four of us ate dinner and desserts. 100% positive experience. The prices are as reasonable as I have experienced for this quality. Great job El Mazatlan!

This is pretty standard fair Mexican food, but these guys were on-point with everything. We came in after a day of looking at dinosaurs and caves, and BAM, chips and salsa in our face right away. We devoured those, ordered food, and they just kept bringing more chips. The kids loved it. The food came out super fast. I had the Bartley Bowl and it was not only delicious, but it was actually a decently healthy dish with the macros listed on the menu. That's a rare thing. My wife had one of the standard mixtures of rice/beans/meat/tortillas and it was fine. We were in a hurry, and they had us in and out in a jiffy. The waitress also let me speak my terrible broken Spanish to her.
