Absolutely love Barnwood. Huge portions for very fair prices, good service and a nice atmosphere. The meatloaf sandwich is an actual stop traffic experience, wings are all excellent, fried chicken is great. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and I'm never disappointed. I will say their pizza is the least memorable part of the menu (crust is too thin) but even that is serviceable in a jam. If you're looking for a place in Catskill to eat this is one of my two faves.

Very nice server. Sat immediately. Quite well known music in the background. I had the Barnwood burger which had bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, and onion rings. The fries were tasty but I loved the baked beans. Very tasty bbq sauce in the table. Slightly smoky Slightly vinegar taste.

Pleasant place with a classic Americana feel and fare. Delicious food is just the cherry on top of the friendly service and a well-kept establishment.

This is my go to place for chicken. The chicken tenders are so crisp and crunchy and you know they did not come out of a bag. The servings are such that I always have some to take home. Soups are homemade and the pizza is delicious.

This is an excellent restaurant for casual, no frills, American food restaurant off the highway. Stopped here during a road trip on our way to our hotel in Catskill. I had a Greek salad with chicken, husband had a meatloaf dinner, and we shared wings. Very reasonably priced, quick service, delicious food, and good portions. My only regret is not trying one of their cocktails which also looked great!

Stopped in for dinner on our fall foliage trip ...small-town atmosphere, great service from our hard working waitress. Chicken tenders and onion were top notch, not so for the BBQ RIBS.

I wish I could remember the name of our server - she was GREAT! The food was awesome as ever. I had the chicken fingers (see photo, minus 2 already eaten, lol). The pulled pork (weekends only) is phenomenal also! You cannot go wrong no matter what you order here. The staff is always smiling, pleasant, and go out of their way to help you (or get what you need). Every time I am in Catskill, I have to stop at the Barnwood Restaurant!👍👍

This was a great restaurant, very fair prices for the great food. I had the BLT sandwich and was very happy with it. It was cooked well and the service was good too
One thing I wasn't thrilled about was how there were quite a few flies in the restaurant

My wife & I stopped at The Barnwood yesterday on a whim after a miserable trip to a festival. The bartender was super nice & friendly and fast! The honey garlic wings were killer and the pizza was delicious! Everything else looked and smelled amazing. We some some great conversations with some if the local regulars too. This will definitely be a go to spot whenever we are in the area. Thank you!!

The place is cute, it gave my buddy and I a lot of nostalgia to eat here. It's perfectly clean, just looks slightly dated. Not complaining, though.
I had the Barnwood burger, it was very tasty and you can tell the beef has never been frozen. Buddy had the strip steak, it was cooked just how he wanted and tasted pretty nice but had a little too much gristle not trimmed off the tip.
They have the best chicken wings ANYWHERE. My buddy and I agree, they're the best wings we've ever had. They're smoked but don't taste too smoky, they're literally fall off the bone tender, they're absolutely incredible. Do yourself the favor and get at least a dozen.
