This is a great place for authentic Mexican food, portions are good and delicious every time. Helps if you speak Spanish but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Getting takeout today but eating inside is open. They have a great selection of toppings from savory to very spicy. I recommend getting the Seafood soup it comes with fish, blue crab, squid, whole shrimp and more. The ceviche fresh and delicious too. Don't let the decor or the location keep you away and there is plenty of parking.

Best Mexican place I have found in Cary. The number of Spanish speakers out numbered English speakers.. that's the secret to find a good Mexican place. The Al pastor tacos are awesome. I also had chicken quesadilla and mixed fajitas which were great that my family couldn't finish. I ate too much in a good way.

Born and raised in Southern California you hear that the best tacos are in LA. I spent 25 years there & can attest to this fact. Rancho Grande is on par with Los Angeles tacos. Given the fact that it's in Cary... means that it's even better than those spots back home. Highly HIGHLY recommended for anyone craving an REAL authentic Taqueria experience. Go there. Go there now.

This place is the mecca of traditional and authentic mexican food. No frills restaurant by all stretches of the imigination. But the food is fresh and out of this world ..Portions are generous and their salsa and toppings are home made and incredible .Beer is cold and goes well. Make and effort it will be worth it

Food is great. 4 tacos took 30 minutes to come out. Almost 30 other orders came out before our, including about 15 folks that ordered after us.

This place is getto. I ordered enchiladas and after 20 minutos of waiting the waitress came back and said they run out of the spice to make the enchiladas. This was upsetting. Also no chips and the salad bard had fruit flys.

Incredibly happy that they were open on Christmas. Had pork and chicken tamales as well as the camarones a la diabla. The chicken tamal was excellent. The pork tamal was a bit spicy and had a couple of bones with the meat. The camarones a la diabla was good. Would be nice if the menu mentioned the sides (rice/beans) included with each dish.
