Awaze Cuisine

This was an absolutely beautiful dining experience! We love trying new cuisine and Ethiopian did not disappoint. The decor in the restaurant is very eclectic and lovely like sitting in the middle of the Serengeti! Lots of interesting beverages and many vegetarian options to choose from! We will definitely be going back!

First of all, I paid $15 for a meal I had to throw away. I wanted pita bread but got the sponge bread I do not like and there was more of it than actual food. The beef was so overcooked (burnt) that it could not be eaten. If this is how Ethiopian food is supposed to be I will never eat there again. Very disappointed!!! (Response to owner): I ordered through postmates for pickup on Thurs Apr 14th. It even said pita on the ticket on the bag. Even if I would have had pita, I still couldn't eat the beef being burnt.

I ordered from Awaze through Postmates delivery service. A driver by the name of JESUS was assigned to the order. An hour after placing my order I contacted the restaurant inquiring about the whereabouts of my order. The restaurant was so dismissive and impatient. They even had the gall to imply that I was trying to run a scam for a free meal. They were not trying to help me at all. Furthermore, the Awaze staff member insulted me by asking me the customer "do you have PROOF that you did not receive the order?'' "The proof is me calling your restaurant telling you I haven't received the order" I expressed. "Take it up with Urbereats. There is nothing we can do" she snapped. I ordered this food three hours ago and driver JESUS never delivered my food. So the tip that I gave JESUS prior to my order was not refunded because he falsely indicated a completed delivery status. Awaze loyalty is to random strangers' picking up your food and misinforming the system of your delivery status. Once your food is out the door to a random stranger and your money is deducted off your card, Awaze is dismissive to any issues after that. Order at your own risk!
