Waffle House

The waitress, Avery, was so phenomenal. The food is well, it's waffle house, I can't expect anything else which is the only reason for minus 1 star. I love that she made me a fresh pit of coffee, even though the coffee isn't that good, I was still very happy she made a fresh pot for me! Most of the time the waitresses here are super nice.

Switch in staff in some ways so has gotten a bit better but previously before month ago .. would shut place down for rest of night saying cleaning grills but that takes only up to an hour(previous employ wit WF myself).. they would just refuse to do much of anything.. except 2 staff that did wat they could. I reached out to WF corporate & they went above to make sure to make things my fault & how much I had wrong about situation after 10plus times waiting for resolve before reaching out. & like I mentioned I have been employed by WF corporation so I know certain details, also distant family member a 20+ year employee.. but they made me feel like I was nothing but their issue. Unlike other businesses! I really still am beyond belief that they have as many stores due to how they handle situations but I guess some need food after midnight & they are open(when they choose to be).. anyway I am glad things have been situated & can actually place order to go(if go in store to place it, do not expect a phone response!) So getting better.

The menu now has half the items it did a year ago,filthy tables and high chair,waitress didn't even offer to clean it,handed my wife a rag to clean it herself.flies buzzing around,never asked if we wanted refills,food was subpar due to bad ingredients and portions were alot smaller ,prices were outragous.30.00 2 people eating conservativly.after 40 years of happy memories,I'm just about over waffle house.

This was the absolute worse experience we have ever had at this particular waffle .house we was told the cook was a chef and had just completed culinary school ..but our food came out cold .and the sausage was raw in the middle hash browns was not correct they left out the onions after I specified that I wanted onion , now I know that it's not a star restaurant.but giving the fact we were the only people in there at the time there is no excuse for this. With the waitress take our grits s back they were cold and they were a large grits she brought back a small grit that was still cold as well we told her that we had ordered a large she does not even offer to swap them we told her that they were still cold and she did nothing to offer hot food also when she took the food back the cook ask her what was wrong with it and she made a whiny face rubbing her eyes like we were being babies about our food. They are very unprofessional there and they do not know how to cook we will never return to that restaurant. However we still did pay for the piece of chicken that I did eat and for my drink .
