Sonic Drive-in

It’s a sonic! I love their corn dogs and drinks!!! It took a while but we got our food and it was worth the wait. I ordered in the app and got a discount. My fiancée tried the cinnamon bites he likes them! I got corn dog and tots and Moz sticks!!!! We got the doggie a plain burger - she loved it. No idea what the inside of the facility is like but the bathroom, which has access outside, was clean. I always take that as a good sign. The cherry limeade is amazing and the only “soda” (it has sprite) that I drink.

This will be a bit long. First of all, we LOVE Sonic! Even after working at one for 9 1/2 years. Tonight my husband and I stopped at the Sonic in Cartersville. The place was busy but not too busy. The carhops were definitely hustling. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen . The food was freezing cold when we got it. My extreme tots, my buffalo popcorn chicken (which barely had any sauce), and my husbands tots, all tasted like they had been sitting out for 30+ minutes. I didn't receive a fork and had to ask for one twice. We stopped a worker walking by and asked if our cold food could be remade. She smiled and politely said "yes!" We wait about 5 minutes and here comes our food, STILL cold. What a waste of $20. We still tipped the young lady $3 because she obviously wasn't the cook. However, their kitchen crew needs to step it up. There is NO EXCUSE for cold food to go out not once, but twice. We were extremely disappointed. We won't be stopping back by this particular Sonic anytime soon.

I’d like to give a shout out to “Lili”/ Liliana. I stopped by Sonic tonight (7/1/2022) and noticed things were going pretty slow but Lili was the only one running orders out to car. When I asked why she was the only one running orders she explained there were multiple call outs tonight making her job a little bit more difficult but with each customer she approached I heard her being kind and courteous. I hope her management team values her as an asset along with any other employee that is showing up and giving it their best. Hopefully they can think of a way to reward their employees and please keep in mind to respect the employees that actually show up!
