The food at Chateau Madrid was amazing !! I'm still thinking about how good the shrimp and garlic sauce that I ordered was -- probably the best I ever had 😀 I was there for my husbands nephews Confirmation dinner and everything was amazing. The calamari was cooked perfectly, I just couldn't stop eating the food it was so good !! My husband and I live about 30 min away from the restaurant but we totally agreed we would take the trip and eat there again !! Such a nice experience !!!

Always an excellent time at Chateau Madrid; the food is wonderful, waiters (especially Rafael!) work hard to make you feel special, every single time. Believe it or not, their salad is amazing, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu - our favorites are shrimp & rice, skirt steak, shrimp in garlic sauce, let's face it, it's all delicious!

We have actually been here plenty of times but this is my first review for this resturant.
Staff is always nice and always attending you. They have a music box you can pay and select to play songs which is cool incase you want to listen to something specific..

The only thing I can possibly say that is a downer is that the place is hot (this is before drinking haha not during or after) but other then that this place is definitely a go.

Paella - I never liked paella but this was pretty good.. I hate mushy rice and can say this was definitely a better experience 8/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Picadinho - We loveeeeeeeeeeee this dish. This is an every time dish accompanied with whatever we order to share. Potatoes with shrimp, beef, sausages & pickled veggies 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Seafood - this wasn’t my dish nor got to try it but was told it was really good but needed more sauce she said.. but then again she loves saucy foods so I’m sure it was good lol with some fresh hot bread…
Chourico - 🔥 flamed sausage was really good!!!!! Nice, hot, and juicy - 8/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Updates 2022 - excellent food and service. I usually enjoy the bar area. The bartender makes delicious caipiriñas and the food is delicious! Affordable
The food is delicious, staff is friendly, parking theres tons, costs ($$)....you pay for what you get and thats good food and good service. I had shrimp and garlic dinner which was perfect,my husband had a t-bome steak with rice and chips which he loved. My sangria was on point as well. Nice crowd, not too young and everyone is just chill.
An elegant and classy restaurant in Carteret with great waiter service and excellent fresh entrees. I ordered the seafood combo in bean stew with white rice and my wife ordered whole bronzino with potatoes and mixed vegetables. For appetizer, we ordered calamari and the restaurant gives a bowl of salad. The food again was excellent and while it took some time to make, the wait is well worth it.
