Bojangles

I decided to grab lunch for my family today and I received our food. When I arrived home the fries tasted old in each box. I returned to the location after calling ahead and the elderly lady with a wig tells me that it is the grease and that the fries were fresh, and that if she dropped another batch it would be the same. I told her ma'am if you taste these they are not fresh. She proceeds to tell me I can make you more fries but there would not be a difference. She didn't offer me fresh hot chicken, since I had to come back up there. A nice manager (white with gray hair) came from the back and started assisting me. He took a look at the fries and said they are overcooked and showed me the difference between the batch of good fries versus what I received. He took the time to understand the problem instead of giving me an attitude like the elderly lady. It was as if she had spent her money. He also provided me with hot chicken.

Place my order online. I arrived on time and immediately they called to tell me it was ready. However they didn't have my Cajun rice ready and explained it would be a little wait but they offered me something else in return. Despite the minor setback they made up for it with excellent customer service. I appreciated that after a hard day at the job. It's the small things.

Super disappointed with this location. Unfortunately there’s not much to choose from in Carrollton, so there’s not much competition. I’ve gone there at least three times over the past two weeks alone and the service was subpar each time! No food…well except for bone-in chicken only. We were told because they were closing in 20 minutes there was no other food available. We went back three days later around 7:30 pm and was told they only had tenders. The Manager on shift was rude. The employee at the window was rude. I get it, life and jobs are stressful, but when giving service to the public, we should find a better way to be of service. My family and I decided to fix our problem by not going there again.

If you want the best spicy fried chicken with all the fixins, there’s no better place than Bojangles. They must have a pressure cooker with a deep fryer to cook the chicken. I don’t even like breast, but even the breast is juicy and tender. It has to be a pressure cooker that they’re using. I especially like the beans, but I wish they had collard greens.

This place is a joke. I recently moved to the area and visited a few weeks ago for breakfast. I’m an earlier riser so I’m there shortly after they open. I don’t care for Bo’Rounds so I always request Cajun Fries. This has never been an issue at any Bojangles’. My first visit they tell me they are out of fries, no problem things happen. I hold off from ordering during that visit. Today I go back, same exact story. The real kicker is when I’m leaving, due to the fact they can’t fulfill my order, I see two employees causally leaned into the drive-thru window chatting with someone at the window. Not even sure it was a customer considering how long I waited at the speaker before someone acknowledged me, I never saw anyone ahead of me in line. It’s extremely hard to believe this location is out of fries twice in less than a few weeks. Out of fries must be code for lazy.

My husband tried to order through the drive through at 9:30pm. The store wasn’t supposed to close until 10pm, but nobody answered the drive through mic. He went through it again. He called me and said I don’t think it’s open, but there are 3 cars here. I called the store and was told they closed early due to staffing issues…a employee’s family member died and there were only 2 employees working. I told her well my husband just went through there and there were 3 cars there. She didn’t know what to say.

My one cheat meal in three weeks. Asked for a thigh and wing. Just those pieces nothing else. Early noon lunchtime they were out of wings for 13 minutes. Okay, breast please I'll eat half. I get home with two thighs and two drumsticks (yuck). Two stars because the staff were polite and asked if they could help when I was a little slow ordering.

Ordered an eight piece tailgate at 7:45 PM on 05/10/2022 at the drive-thru. Was told they were out of mashed potatoes, so I asked for dirty rice and cajun pintos. I was the only one in the drive-thru and the parking lot was empty, yet it took almost ten minutes for the food to be prepared. When I got home I found that half of the box consisted of wings, the containers for the sides were covered in bean sludge, the dirty rice had no sausage in it, and the food was lukewarm at best. I was not given a receipt for my order either.
