Courthouse Cafe

This is actually my first time coming here and figured I'd check it out. Very laid-back and friendly environment. Not too pricey either. Good home cooked breakfast, everything was fresh tasty and the bacon cooked perfectly. Not too chewy or too crispy. Not to mention my waitress was very polite, observant, and checked on me frequently.

Something old is new again! The Courthouse Cafe is lovely and has so much potential. I know there are people who don’t like change but with new ownership, there are always changes! Had Sunday brunch there today and thoroughly enjoyed it! The French Toast is heavenly, the homemade Corned Beef Hash and eggs was delightful and their Country Fried Steak was delicious!! We chatted with Chef Sean and he has some amazing ideas that I am so looking forward to seeing them implement! While this has traditionally been a meat and three operation, there is much more than just the cafeteria aspect available. This historic spot is becoming a blend of old and new and I can’t wait to see how it develops!

A little disappointed. Used to eat there daily. Been awhile since we'd been and unfortunately won't be back. The cornbread was delicious best thing we had...very, very stingy on portions, seasoning of veggies was lacking, dumplings didn't really have a taste but had plenty of meat in them. Sad to us knowing how it "used to be".🤨

Great food and excellent service. The owners are always there and come around to make sure everything is as it should be. The home cooking is awesome, everything is fresh. If you come in the back door, you can see bags of fresh onions, boxes of potatoes and other fresh vegetables. Great old fashion comfort food.
