Delicious food! Well definitely recommend this place to my friends! And I absolutely love the pupusas with the curtido!
The group I was with was visiting DFW area and found Pupusas Doña Lola by accident on Yelp. The food is delicious and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. Overall it was a great experience, can't say enough passive comments about it.
For the love of all that is holy, go and buy yourself some papusas from Mama Tita. I'd never tried one before, but here I am on day three of my papusa bender & I just can't stop. The gooey molten hot pork & cheese papusa paired with the crisp & tart slaw, all smothered with perfectly spicy salsa is maybe one of the best bites I've had in my entire life. All for under two bucks. Amen.
Nice Surprise. Actually, I didn't really know what a pupusa was, but my friend and I were around the area. She, an immigrant from Honduras, was really excited to see a place that was specialized in pupusas! She said we just had to try this place out, and so we did. Boy, was I glad we did.
We ordered some pupusas, of course, and went to town! I didn't really know what to expect because I hadn't had one before, but she showed me how to eat it... with all the thing I needed to put on and my, my... that sauce that went with it. I really liked this pupusa thing... a lot!
My friend told me that it was one of the better places in Dallas to get pupusas! She said it was pretty soft but didn't fall apart easily... that how it was done in Honduras (and El Salvadore... I suppose). Anyway, I thought we made the right choice stopping by this place. It wasn't very easy to find.. so look for Caribbean Cafe or TX Catfish & Wings. Pupusas Mama Tia II is only a few doors away. Highly recommended!!
The pupusas here are so delicious. A lot of places here seem to Americanize their traditional dishes. But this place is authentic. I’ve been to El Salvador before and the ones here are just as delicious as the ones over there. And the staff has always been nice when attending me. 100% recommend
The food is amazing, the pupusas are fantastic really authentic dishes. Love the atmosphere and the the staff was very friendly. Lots of cheese on their dishes, we just need more hot sauce. Beside the hot sauce everything was great. I will definitely will be going there with the whole family.
This place is just another reason to love Carrollton. The weekend only Chicken Sandwich is a treat and their grilled shrimp was excellent. Of the the pupusas too. The jack of all trades owner is welcoming and wants to ensure you leave satisfied.
Delicious every single time! I always order the pupusas revueltas , a side of plátano and a side of chicharrón. The staff is always very kind and friendly. I call my order in ahead of time and it’s always delicious.

Best papusas I have had in years!!! And prices were very good. Small clean shop where you will taste quality.
I’ve been coming to this place for awhile, but it has been too long since the last time. I love, love, LOVE Shrimp and Cheese pupusas and these soft Chicken Tamales stuffed with potato and chickpeas in addition to the chicken. Topped it off with a large Horchata and I’m ready for a nap!! ❤️❤️❤️
Small little place, but I travel for over 40 minutes just for the pupusas, which are inexpensive but delicious. Word of warning though, Sunday mornings are PACKED you will wait for a long time for a table, so I usually go during the week.
