The absolute BEST ice cream place ever. I have been coming here for 30 years since a child. The memories I have here are the best and this is still the best spot for ice cream! I love it and you will too! Their food is good too! Super chill bites for something quick and easy. Definitely stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Took my daughter for some food and ice cream. Let's just be honest. It's really not that good. Took 20 minutes and let's be clear. It wasn't busy today. Cheese fries were bland. Pulled pork was not it. My daughter's ice cream was done well by one girl there. Great presentation. The chocolate chip cookie dough with brownie topping. It was just a cosmic brownie they decided to cut up. Nasty. Best part was while I'm asking my daughter why people think this place is great, she tells me she's not sure if I should give my fiance her ice cream because "I don't know daddy. It looks eh". Kids never lie. They're not accurate with your order and I found myself repeating myself to either make sure my order was right or to correct my order. They kid had a pen and paper, writing it down and still messed it up. Carvel in the plaza is just as good and the people down there don't have to be corrected 8x.

Not good. Went a few times and each time the ice cream literally had no taste. I figured maybe it was me. Maybe it was just that particular flavor. Nope.

Cute little shop. They have a vegan vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good

The BEST ice cream in Putnam County! You can’t beat scoops - the sundaes, the food, the staff, and how special they make summers in Carmel 🤌🏻🤌🏻❤️

*2018?* It's a nice location in the center of Carmel. There soft serve is pretty good but there hard serve is Hershey's or the dastardly Perry's depending upon the day. If you live locally I highly recommend it as it is comparable with a local watering hole because everyone in town goes there. If your not local its nothing special.
Edit 7/3/2022: Unfortunately I think the hardserve is only perry's now which im just not a fan of. With that being said I would normally only get soft serve from then usually but unfortunately I feel as if there soft serve has gone downhill too and honestly even with the location going for it I really am struggling as a local to go. Would not recommend unless your trying to meet someone in Carmel and wanted a milkshake I guess?

Classic, local roadside stand with all the usuals, that's becoming increasingly difficult to find and enjoy.
If you're looking for a place to bring the kids for food or ice cream after weekend sports, or simply wanting to enjoy a summer night, this is a good choice. They have all the usuals: burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, ice cream, etc., so you're bound to find something that you and/or your kids are craving.
It's open seasonally, so enjoy it while the weather is nice.
I'm only giving it three stars because there isn't anything specifically *great* about it. It's (to use Yelp's terminology) "A-OK", and that really describes it. Reliable, trustworthy, but their food isn't special or distinctive enough, for example, to go out of your way to get here. If you were three towns over, you wouldn't drive to Scoops for a burger or ice cream; you'd go locally. That's the diff between a 3 and a 4/5 star place.
If you're craving a quick food/ice cream fix, and you're in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong with Scoops.
