Very helpful salespeople. Very willing to let you try samples. If you love licorice they have an excellent selection among lots of other candy.

Cute little shop! The employees are very nice, and a great selection of both fresh and wrapped treats. I got the milk, dark, and peanut butter truffles which were huge and rich, and so was the jumbo peanut butter cup. Highly recommend!
Great Turkish delight! Though the handmade chocolates were fantastic, the space was a little small but what more can I expect from a beach town. The cottage has such a kind staff and it was amazing to see a whole wall of licorice from all over the world!
A cute little cottage full of Sweets! It's smaller on the inside than it seems from the photos, so every nook is full of goodies and visitors. For those anglophiles, you'll particularly love their selection of imported British candies.
Wow!! What an awesome place. So many old school candies, handmade chocolates and truffles and an enormous amount of gummies and licorice.

A Sweet spot of history! This small cottage, originally home to a loom shop, is now a sweets and confections shop. It is quite small and a very popular stop for visitors as well as the locals, so it can get crowded easily or have a bit of a line. The treats are well worth the wait. From chocolates to gummies the walls are filled top to bottom with treats of all kinds, some modern candies mixed in with the classic candy shop options. Cottage of sweets is the perfect stop after dinner or before a day at the beach!
This quaint sweet shop is located in one of the cutest cottages in Carmel. Large selection of hard candies, lollies, licorice, cookies, pralines, and chocolate covered nuts.There can be quite a line but it's worth the wait!
Vintage little candy store in carmel-by-the-sea, they have just about any kind of candy inside you could want. The fudge in particular is excellent. Very nice quaint little shop with good friendly service. The prices here are reasonable, not too bad.

Magical little cottage filled with sweets for everyone!! There truly is something for everyone here, including chocolates, gummies, all things sour and sweet. Great place to get a sweet gift for someone who has a bit of a sweet tooth. It is a small cottage so be patient when they are busy because it can become crowded easily. The customer service was wonderful, friendly and we will gladly be back to try more sweets again soon!
