My kiddos and I love this place. The owners, cooks, and staff are awesome! We love to sit on the stools and watch them cook the food and joke around with them.
Felicia and Jasmine were very friendly and professional!!
Ryan and Cassie served up an amazing side order of biscuits and gravy.
The coffee was fantastic.
Will definitely recommend this business to others looking for a great brunch/lunch a.k.a. Brunchies!!!
Open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday - Friday
7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
I was the first customer on a dark morning. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. The bar and counter remind me of Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks'.
I liked the wooden curved seats in each booth.
It's clean and tidy with large photos framed on the walls. Ceiling fans spin above the lights.
The waitress was friendly and efficient.
Breakfast here was a great start to my day
The breakfast here is always good. I had the crunchy French toast and it came with some fruit on it and I had a side of pancakes which were light and fluffy. Very very good. The service is always good and it's always clean. The only problem is you have to get there early on a Sunday or you're going to be waiting a while.
I honestly wasn't expecting much because it looks like typical diner food. Which is usually meh. But everything was pretty good!
I got the French toast that crunches. It'd coated in corn flakes. The biscuits and gravy had good flavor and had just enough gravy. The nutty monkey was good because the bananas were cooked into the pancake. However, they forgot the pecans and whipped cream. So really it was just a chocolate chip banana pancake. I would go again
On our first time in here, we had the BLT omelettes, and they were excellent. All of the tables are physically distanced and spaced far apart, and everyone was wearing masks. The coffee was very good as well. Great prices and great value and great service. They have a very nice mid-century Diner aesthetic and it is executed to a T. I will definitely be back here for breakfast and brunch.
Breakfast food and service are excellent. Atmosphere needs a bit of updating. Photo credits: my fiance Kevin Roberts.
This is by far the best breakfast I've ever had in a restaurant. It was very clean and pleasant. Our server was spot on with our order. If you are looking for home cooking that you don't have to cook it yourself. Then come to Brunchies. You won't be disappointed. They clean the tables and seats as soon as you leave.
Been here twice and both times were great!
Seated in reasonable time. Served promptly. Food fresh and delivered quickly.
Our servers have always been fantastic too from seating all the way through check out. Really enjoy coming here!

Friendly staff, fast and good food, diner style. This is one of my fave neighborhood spots; have tried and enjoyed all the typical breakfast staples — great place for a quick bite first thing in the morning. Great open, well-lit dining areas; also offers free Wi-Fi.
Restaurant has excellent COVID-19 signage and instructions. The staff all wear masks and adhere to social distancing practices when seating customers. Unfortunately, the customers are 50/50, at best, when it comes to wearing masks, and the restaurant is not currently requiring customers to wear masks to enter the establishment.
1-star deducted for having Fox News on the TVs. It just makes me wonder about the people around me instead of enjoying the place itself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tried out Brunchies for the first time today, a nice hidden gem we had not yet discovered. The coffee refills were spot on, our waitress refilled several times. I ordered the big breakfast scramble and it was a perfect breakfast combination. Husband had the Reuben and it was equally delicious with a side of crispy thick cut chips. Service was fast, and no waiting for a Monday lunch. We will return.
If you’re tired of the bougie brunch places that abound around Carmel, this is a down home ‘Hoosier style’ classic diner experience. Brunchies is a local breakfast lunch place that feels like an old school diner, or greasy spoon. The place is not greasy at all, it’s impeccably clean, and basic diner style seating, simple decor. Friendly wait staff and you can see the grill line in center of the space. Clearly there is a steady flow of regulars who dine here and have a strong relationship with the staff. The menu has all the traditional American diner offerings. I had a ‘skillet’ with hash browns scrambled eggs and green pepper (hold the onion for me) and topped with a tasty sausage gravy with a biscuit. Plenty of calories to hold me over for most of the day! Highly recommend, though the prices are on par with the other bougie brunch places in Carmel.
