Super chill place with a very welcoming atmosphere. I took the recommendation of my server and tried the chili cheese etoufee, along with advice from the friend who recommended this cool spot to ask for “extra bread“. Everything was amazing! Just the right amount of spice and lots of hefty crawfish pieces nestled in the creamy sauce. Enjoyed the outside seating on the sidewalk as I cleaned my plate. Great food, good service, very reasonable price, perfect week night meal out!
A nice place to grab a delicious lunch. Clean, quick service, friendly staff, excellent selection of dishes on the menu, and it was nice to see a few gluten-free and dairy-free options were available.
Wonderful Cajun jambalaya with a low-key, artsy, and charming vibe, reminding me of the good old life in the New Orleans French Quarter! 😋🥝 The bread 🥖 is amazing and is the highlight of their menu, all smothered with an orange buttery sauce. For entrees, I especially recommend the chicken maque choux and the spinach and mushroom etouffee.
The people there are awesome! Cool, friendly, and always happy to chat. The restaurant is so hip and artsy, you feel like you're in New Orleans again!
5/5, would recommend!
Great place for a good meal. Prices are amazing for the quality and quantity of a meal here. It's definitely worth going a couple times a week.
My friends and I all had different dishes and while one was not really to my specific tastes, all of them were phenomenal. This is a great place for fast but nutritious (I feel like anyway), simple comfort food. Had takeout so can't rate the vibes or service.
This restaurant is a wonderful place to visit.
The food is awesome.
The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.
If you haven't tried this place it's worth the time to visit.
Just happened to find this place while in the area and what a wonderful surprise it was. It's been a long time since I've been able to find good Cajun/Creole food and I have not been disappointed either time I've been here! Definitely recommend the Chipotle Alexio, and don't forget to grab some extra bread with your dinner.
I rather make my own Cajun food, but I don't have the time, this is the place I go right too. Good food, service and atmosphere. For the price you get a good portion of food.
So good and just as I remembered from a dozen years ago. I used to live in Indy, and I'm back in town for 24 hours. Yats was one location on my list to revisit for the Chili Cheese Etouffee. No other restaurant makes it the same! Yats always satisfies!
Amazing food! I definitely recommend the Chipotle Alexio Chicken, the drunken chicken & the jambalaya! A must recommend for a budget friendly lunch/dinner Cajun food option!
