Love this place! When we go with work we always stop by and eat here. The sliced brisket plate is always so good. Smoked macaroni and cheese is amazing, beans are good hush puppies were good. What tops it off is the amazing cherry cobbler and pecan pie. Will definitely keep coming back, the staff is always friendly and keep your drinks full. If you arrive before 11 AM you need to wait outside. Around 12 it starts filling up. For 2 people brisket platters with 3 sides 2 drinks and cobbler/pie came out to around 40 bux, but it fills you up!

Guy said he couldn’t serve me because he didn’t have any cooks available. Which is strange because bbq is smoked in advance. Idk situation is weird. Why don’t you have a cook available at 2pm during a pandemic when people can’t dine in. Makes zero sense to me.

Unfortunately, it was closed when we came during normal business hours. The manager came out, and he apologized thoroughly. He was really friendly and he provided an excellent customer service.
What a shame that the place was closed and we got turned around.

We were passing threw to go to the caverns this weekend and definitely don’t regret stopping. Each table outside had a fan to adjust, which was nice since we had to sit outside because of Covid. Even with Covid and the heat, service was really great! The waitress bought us sliced oranges for our 11 month old, which was so nice! The food was absolutely amazing, their house bar-be-que sauce was delicious. We plan to go back next time we visit!

My boyfriend wanted bbq, & I had worked in this area a few years back & remembered everyone saying this was good bbq. However, after reading that they support lgbqt & was "woman led" we didn't eat there. You're a restaurant. Not sure the rest of that bs matters. Just cook and leave the rest out.
