The queso fundido was amazing. Our server had a great sense of humor throughout our meal. He kept the horchata flowing and the tamales made me weep with culinary joy. The fountain outside is inviting and it was an easy place to find, just minutes from the Omni. We’ll be bringing guests next visit.
We were on the patio by one of the fountains. Delightful ambiance! We shared fajitas, which were excellent. We used to go to this place when it was in Old Town San Diego. Glad to find it again.
Great food, service, drinks and atmosphere. Short wait, homemade tortillas, large portions and a awesome waiter Jose C! He was so attentive and personable and just made our experience that much better! I highly recommend this restaurant. I only wished I lived closer because I would be there often!
I love this place! Remembering the old location in Old Town, but this Carlsbad location is still super fun. It's really really big and despite the huge number of patrons the food always comes out hot and delicious. The service is always super friendly, and of course the margaritas are massive.

I don't eat a lot of Mexican food because it's normally cheap quality and super greasy. This on the other hand, was not. You definitely get your money's worth at this place. I have memories of coming here as a kid everytime we would come down to CA for vacation and so coming back was very nostalgic. I loved it then, and I love it now. The flavor of my carnitas was off the hook. They give you fresh tortillas, and plenty of toppings. The meat was so juicy and so flavorful. Everything that was brought to our table was super good and I didn't try anything that I regretted. If your ever in the area, Casa De Bandini is a must try. Also, there's a mall right next to the restaurant that you can shop in while you wait for a table. They text you when your tables ready so you can leave and then come back, which is really convenient on Friday nights when it's so busy.

Fantastic Mexican food! Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating options. Lovely wait staff. You will love this restaurant if you like traditional Mexican cuisine.
Great service. Great food. My meal was perfect. Pineapple and shrimp was an amazing combination.
