The Cantina is my favorite place in North County. The food is excellent. The french fries are the best and I love taco Thursday.
This is the "Cheers" in Carlsbad. I have been coming here for over 10 years now. It really is the place where everyone knows each other and looks out for one another. No bells and whistles, just a good, relaxing, unwind from your day, have a drink, good food and laugh with your friends, kinda place. Carolee is an ear to so many. Andy the owner is fun and personable and a true Carlsbad-ian! It's a home town bar people, not the ritz and as far as MY home town bar....5 star from me! Love it, cheers!!!!
stopped in for lunch. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, so good! great environment. The staff was friendly. The waiter was attentive. Pricing was good! i'd go back!
Favorite place! The coolest locals bar/restaurant in town! The have strong cocktails and great Mexican/Americana food! Met my husband here and we bring our little kids here almost every weekend. Kid friendly, dog friendly, human friendly. The nicest staff and owners who do a lot to give back to the community!

Great spot for Mexican food.
The fajitas are super good and the bell peppers in it were orange and red, so sweet and tasty.
Also got the carne asada nachos and the portion was huge. The half portion is still a lot for 2 people.
The coke tasted a bit off and the margarita was just a mix. But the friendly service made up for it.
The servers were friendly, and the food was good. Appeared to be some logistical snags. We went for a meal. This is more a hang out with friends for awhile kind of place. Enjoy!
