Stopped here with some friends halfway through a bike ride. It was a nice little spot to have brunch at before heading back on the road. I got the spicy egg sandwich (per the employees recommendation) and it was really good. The staff was really friendly and the outdoor seating was v pleasant. Thanks to the employee who helped me figure out how to use my Apple Pay on my phone (first time I had ever used it!), she was very friendly!!!

What a great stop in Carlsbad for breakfast. Easy to order at walk-up counter. Good food. Daughter's waffle was cold, but everything else was very enjoyable. Even staff to clear and clean tables. Will be back.

Amazing pastries, they bake them in shop and have a great selection. We have stopped here multiple times to grab a morning pastry and some coffee. Also does full breakfast options. But their pastries are what will bring me back each time. (Especially their chocolate croissant!)

I moved out of Carlsbad about 6 years ago. Cage Elysa has alway been a favorite. The Eggs Benedict was delicious and the staff as it together.
