A friend recommended the spot to me for their fish tacos and they knocked it out of the park! Fish tacos for $1.19 each everyday and not day of the week dependent. You can't go wrong with that. Hard to find another place that will get you 4 fish tacos for just over $5! Chunky salsa at the side/sauce bar was the freshest tasting I've had! They are also open 24 hours and near the freeway so it is a perfect stop if you are doing any late night trips and are passing by or even just during the day. Next to gas stations too for fuel while stopping for food.

After having tacos at a taqueria by the airport that was rated almost 5 stars, I was skeptical about this place. Decided to try it when coworkers mentioned the fish tacos. I'm glad I did! Awesome fish taco and can't beat the price. The tortilla soup was really good too. The service was great and only waited 5 minutes for my order. They have a good flow of people. That's normally a good sign. Looking forward to trying other items in their menus

star of the show are their dollar fish tacos (now 1.19, still a deal!) 2 or 3 of them will fill you up well & happy they use corn tortillas. last I went, the quality of the food for what you pay just reminded me of my years eating Thailand street food. so it's great you can still get this kind of bang for the buck so conveniently 24 hours a day here in the states (in California too!). it's my go to whenever I am in the Encinitas/Carlsbad area - I never miss it like a beat.

WOW! Best fish tacos I've ever had! I enjoyed the whole experience. Watching them cooking the kitchen and how efficient everybody worked together. Oh my goodness those fish tacos are some of the best food I've ever eaten! I also had the fish tacos in the Carlsbad El Pueblo which were just as delicious. However, the service was not as good but the employees were still friendly.
