Incredibly quirky place. If you really like thematic places and a vintage aesthetic, this is your place. One of a kind. Great bubble bread and sticky buns. The Mahi Brando with the mushroom risotto was awesome. The orange crunch cake is incredibly sweet but decadent. The red velvet cake is surprisingly not as sweet but just as good, if not better. Would very much recommend. One of the most unique places in town and definitely worth a visit.

Such a uniquely different place with amazing food. We had the chips they make there with cheese and bacon, as an appetizer. We brought those home in hopes of heating up in the air fryer. My husband had a massive mushroom and Swiss burger. I had their crab cakes with lobster sauce, rice and a mango coleslaw. Our meals were amazing! They were probably the best crab cakes I’ve ever had, so good that I brought one home for dinner. Our server, Serenity was pleasant, knowledgeable friendly. After being seated, she greeted us in her scouts uniform with mini mouse ears. She’s adorable!! We were encouraged to explore and check out the Bubble Room while our food was being prepared. They had so much memorabilia but we particularly enjoyed the tin toys. Please enjoy the pictures. I encourage you to visit when in the area. You won’t regret it.
Kitschy is probably the best word to describe this family owned local restaurant. The portions are extremely generous, and they are famous for their gigantic slices of cake. The quality of food was very good and prices were reasonable. Serenity, our waitress, was very friendly and our entire large group had a great time. This was my second time here, and I'll definitely come back anytime I'm in Sanibel.
The Bubble Room restaurant is a very unique dining experience! Decorated for Christmas year-round. Food is good, but the desserts are to die for! If you have time for nothing else, I definitely recommend you stop in for a dessert! Portion sizes are large, prices are reasonable. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!
This is a quirky place with lots of cool things to look at. The food however is even more impressive. Everything we had was great, the only problem is trying to figure out which slice of cake to order.
Very eccentric venue! Had been told about this place and it was worth the 2 and half hour drive just to see it! We did of course have lunch and cake (plus takeaway cake too!) The main menu is varied, we shared the moons between 5 as an appetiser - delicious and naughty! We all enjoyed our mains - I had the shrimp pineapple rice combo and it was so good! The cakes are absolutely HUGE but all tasted amazing! Couldn't leave without visiting the gift shop across the road to purchase a 'cake menu' t-shirt! Brilliant fun.
We visited Boops for breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and desserts. The staff was super friendly! The croissant breakfast sandwiches are DELICIOUS, and the cold brew is the best we've come across in Sanibel/Captiva. We picked up three desserts to have at home: the orange crunch cake, french torte, and key lime pie. All were amazing, but the orange crunch was out of this world. We can't wait to return!
Very fun place to go in and eat. You are surrounded by Christmas decorations, old actors photographs, antique toys and many vintage items. The food is incredible. I had the fresh salmon with fruit salsa, rice and beans. It was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, nice and service was we provided. Great place to eat!!!
Great food in a very unique atmosphere. Lots of Americana in this place for sure. We ate here right before Ian, and truly hope they will be able to rescue this place from the floods. Good luck and thank you for the awesome experience Bubble Room!
This place was so fun to go to! The service was good and food was good! We got the orange crunch cake which is the best seller! I can't remember the name of the sandwich but we it has avocados, mushrooms, red pepper, cucumber sauce, and we added turkey as our meatand it did not disappoint!! We split the sandwich out as so big. We also went over to the emporium and picked up a few little gifts. They had Christmas decorations that will go great with our tree next year
