on a saturday (2/26). i have lived in SC for close to 2 years now. so i went touring on my bike and had to come here since i came in January that the joint was closed. great dawgs, i have the polish and hot link to keep it simple and they were good. local spicy mustard and sauerkraut on pol then regular mustard and rel on the link. massive buns but were very rich taste with the dawgs. overall great lil joint.

hours said it is also open thurs. im at the joint and its closed. i guess fridays and weekend is the jam. no hard calls, its just my bad timing i guess.

This a great place to get an easy bite to eat by Capitola Beach. The dogs come from Corralitos Market and the bread from Aldo’s Bakery, both great local businesses.
The Heater is delicious. The sauerkraut is really good too, definitely freshly made and not from a can.
Grab a dog and go sit on a bench in front of the beach, makes an awesome lunch!

I try to get one of these when I am in Capitola. Great little (and I do mean little) sausage counter. Great tasting and nice variety of toppings. Just had the hot link and has a nice and subtle bit of heat. Guy behind the counter is pretty nice and friendly. Recommend it for sure.

Quite bad but cheap if you don’t care..
Cold raw onion over thin sausage... I thought it was hard to mess up a hot dog but they did it...
Make it new york style with a better bread and thicker sausage with caramelized onions.

I've tried it all and never get tired of a tasty hot dog, footlong or sausage! Cheesy, mild or spicy, either way your tummy & wallet will be happy. Look for this little hidden gem on the corner of Esplanade and San Jose Ave, never wait in line again!
