Crave

When we went to order a take out after she had said we could, apparently we were going too slow because she hung up on us. If you ask me usually you don’t agree to do a take out then hang up on them. Tried calling back 4 times and whoever, i know it goes to the bar, she kept picking up the phone then hanging up then decided the fourth time pick up and leave the phone off the hook. Not impressed, its people like this who give Cape Vincent its bad reputation. If you dont like taking orders you should probably not be in the restaurant business honey.

We've been trying to eat at Crave since they opened, twice we drove down and they were closed even though their Facebook page said they were open. Well we made it for dinner tonight and lets just say we arent "Craving" it anymore. The desserts are delicious a bit pricey at $10, but you can easily cut it into 4 pieces so factoring that in it's an ok deal. Dinner was Veal Osso Bucco over smashed potatoes ( maybe 3 tsps under the potatoes) and root veggies (5 itty bitty carrots) the veal was all bone and alot of fat......not worth the $22. It scores a 5 for appearance.

We had a family get together for two weeks nearby and opted to eat here often during that time choosing different sandwiches, pizzas, and specials as our whims of the day went. It was all really tasty and service was always excellent. We'd easily make it a regular spot if we lived nearby and if/when we're in town again we'll be stopping in for more.
