The sand bar at night is lovely, especially the fire pits. It’s fun chatting with other guests. They make a good Old Fashioned, although prices are a little high. We’ve eaten breakfast and lunch here too, and the food is really good.

It's one of our "must stops" in Cape May. Totally enjoy the "inside / outside bar". Great drinks, food, music, service, and atmosphere. Jamie is always an excellent bartender. You have to visit!

We loved the outside patio atmosphere here! Huge patio with two large fire pits to enjoy drinks, some sand for the beach feel, and umbrellas and shade cover. Live band was fun too! Very dog friendly and friendly kind staff! My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it was overcooked. My pulled pork and coke slaw was very good.

Executive Chef James Burton is sending some good food out that kitchen. A variety of apps and entrees on the menu. My favorite is the fried shrimp and fried Mac n cheese balls. I won’t leave without eating here.

Loved the atmosphere here. We came for an early dinner and the service was great. Kid friendly and they have a kid's menu too. The food was ok - decent but also expensive for what it was. They have live music on certain nights. Lively, fun spot.

We stay at the Beach Shack hotel every year when we vacation in Cape May. The Rusty Nail is convenient as it’s attached to the hotel. The vibes are immaculate and the live music is a positive touch. My family loves to sit in the outside section in the sand because my son can play while we enjoy an adult
beverage and check out the band or artist that’s performing. They have a solid menu with plenty to choose from and the food is pretty good. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.
On a side note, Corey was our server this year when we went and the kid is an absolute legend. It was a ridiculously busy Wednesday night and he and one other server had to service the entire outdoor area due to some staff calling out. He ran around to every table with a smile on his face and gave his all even when dealt a junky hand that night. You wouldn’t have even known they were short staffed. He went out of his way to improve our experience and I can’t thank him enough. His attitude is the reason we’ll keep coming back every year.

Cool spot right by the beach. Food was good, not cheap though. But I suppose that's to be expected based on location. I wound up paying 30$ for a burger because I wanted fries instead of chips. It was good though. Cool that kid food comes with a Frisbee. Would eat again.

the ambiance of the rusty nail is excelent, service is very friendly but not overbearing the zucchini sticks are amazing and you have to try them the marinara is not too thick and makes an excelent sauce and their Chipotle aoli while a little heavy on the mayo for my taste was very good as well with all the various dishes we got. we also throughly enjoyed a breakfest that was varied enough for all our party.

Fabulous food, mac and cheese balls are incredible. Crab balls were filled with just crab, no filler. The sea breeze, happy music, friendly and efficient staff make this the place you want to keep going back too.

Service and atmosphere were really great. We loved the live entertainment and outdoor seating. The menu had a good variety and meals were tasty, but we felt it was a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise was a positive experience and would eat there again.
