We had our son’s wedding dinner at the Ebbit room last night. I just want to thank the entire staff for a terrific evening . We had 16 people in their private room , and the wait staff were outstanding. We ordered the oysters, devil eggs, and calamari for appetizers , all enjoyed them. The main courses ran from the special rib eye, Swordfish, scallops and again everyone said their main course was outstanding. I want to thank the entire staff again for a great evening.

My wife and I visit the Virginia Hotel in Cape May once a year. It is a wonderful place and is staffed by the most attentive and kindest persons. We make it a point to eat at the Ebbitt Room at least once and sometimes twice during our stay. The food is excellent and the bartenders are great, however the main reason for visiting the Ebbitt Room is Kenny (Kenneth Richardson) the piano player! As a matter of fact, we plan our visits around his schedule. Kenny is engaging and generates an ambiance from an era long gone by. He is super talented and exudes a style and class that you don’t often find these days!

My husband & I enjoyed sitting at the bar to eat with Leo, the best mixologist ever! Kenny on the piano was excellent & set the mood. They both made our experience excellent. Our Service was impeccable. The food is superb and so many great seasonal selections. We had a few appetizers & then the Atlantic swordfish with puréed potatoes and squash. Oh, the flavors of it all! I will come back just to have a cocktail made by Leo for sure & enjoy his exquisite service & professionalism.

Great service and lovely staff and friendly waiters.
Loved the appetizers but dessert was the best.
My second time here, I ordered Deviled Eggs which were from the local Beach Plum Farm, and a Pumpkin Pie. Previously, I had an apple bourbon tart.

Elegant, yet casual, fine dining experience. Went here for our anniversary dinner, and was not disappointed. The ribeye special was top tier, and the cape may scallops were a contender for some of the best I've had. The yellow tail crudo special was impeccable, and the cheese board was a wonderful way to start out the meal. Our server was the perfect mix of personable and attentive while also not being intrusive in any way. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. I don't say this often, but while it's expensive, the food, service, and atmosphere justify the price 100%

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at The Ebbit Room! Spectacular service, ambiance and food was divine! We sat on the front porch with heaters which was very comfy and then moved inside by the fireplace for a nightcap! Will be back very soon! Staff was so sweet and even gave us a champagne toast on the house!

This was the absolute best dinner I have ever had. I chose the featured chili butter rib eye steak, and calamari. We are both chefs. The steak had the perfect char and the doneness spot on. I will never be able to eat calamari again without comparison. The atmosphere sophisticated old school glam. We go to cape may yearly and I cannot understand why we never visited. 10 plus 10

We had an incredible dinner here. Atmosphere is beautiful. Piano player in the bar was great, excellent cocktails at the bar. Our dinner on the front porch was amazing. Our waiter Nick went above and beyond, providing incredible service. Food was amazing from first course to dessert. The deviled eggs are to die for, definitely a must. Best dinner/service experience we've had in ages! 10/10

The atmosphere is gorgeous. There is a live baby-grand piano performance which is very delightful. Staff are highly trained, attentive and knowledgeable. Each dish had a unique presentation, from formal to creative. Wine selection was on par with other fine dinning experiences in the area. This place is a must for anyone who wants to experience Cape May’s finest dinning.
