This place is a local favorite. Good luck getting a table without a reservation on the weekends. We had a reservation and discovered we were going to be late, so we called and let them know. They were happy to accommodate our new time. We waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated. While waiting, I saw them throwing pizza dough, and putting it on a peel. We sat, the serve was probably frustrated from all the commotion as it was super busy. The food was great, it took a while to come out but again, it was busy and they probably make everything to order like they do with the pizzas.

Top three of my places to eat in Cape May. Some of my favorites include the bacon wrapped scallops, roast beat and goat cheese salad and the amazing skip Jack pizza. I am so glad they've started doing breakfasts. I tried them twice for it thus far, had the Benedict (which is the best on the island in my opinion; I quality control a lot of them ;)), and the beef hash. Both were amazing. Best breakfast in town. Service is amazing as well. Agnieszka provided fast, friendly service. Great with food knowledge, even better at recommending a beer to someone who has no idea what he wants. Even the other staff members say hello, wave, and are super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. Cheers!

Lucky Bones Back Water Grille is an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat while in the Cape May area! We love their soups, salads, and pizza, and drinks. Service is typically great, even when they are busy. Dinner time can usually be extremely busy here so we typically opt to have lunch here. The desserts are delicious as well.

This place was highly recommended to us. Great atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was good, unfortunately my pizza crust was a little burnt.

Had a Wonderful Dinner with friends on our 1st nite in Cape May. Food was great! We started w/ delish French Onion Soup...The perfect ratio of sweet Oniony broth, to melty Gruyere cheese. Yum! Then had tender Crab & Shrimp Cake on a brioche bun, with tons of shoelace potatoes! We loved it! The guys had sirloin tips w/ mushrooms & onion on rolls. They Loved it too. Atmosphere was wonderful, as was our waitress Jenni! Will definitely return again on our next trip to Cape May! 🥳😁💕

Not one disappointment from what we ordered. The seafood here is a must try everything was fresh with succulent and unique flavors. The muscles were out of this world. But the burger was probably one of the best I ever had in south New Jersey. Definitely make this a stop on your food destination.

Fantastic experience! My family and I were up from North Carolina for vacation and tried this for dinner. Overall, our food was delicious! The most memorable part of this experience was the unmatched customer service provided by our server Chrissy. My mom got prime rib which was the special at the time, but when she received it, it was a little underdone for her liking. Once we told the server, she immediately offered to take it back to the kitchen or have the chef remake it. Chrissy insisted that she could have the kitchen remake my mom's order and then proceeded to take 25 dollars off of the bill. We will be back and this has been one of the best experiences I have had in a restaurant. I would 10/10 recommend it!

My wife and i been meaning to come to this place for a while, finally had a chance to go. Food is delicious and fresh, drinks are very tasty, but if you are looking for a quite dinner this isnt the place, tbis is more of a family type restaurant, is not a bad thing just not quite and cozy enough to enjoy a nice calm dinner. The atmosphere is great for families to go and enjoy a great meal.
