Bagels Plus Canton Incorporated

Our church holds an event every year (minus the COVID year) and we ask Keith every year if he would donate the left-over bagels on a Saturday to us. Such was the case again this year. When the Pastor went to ask Keith about the donation, he stopped him half-way through and said "you need bagels, sure I can do that. When do you want them." He couldn't have been more pleasant and happy to help. We cut the bagels up and bagged them on Saturday afternoon. They were still fresh and soft on Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much Keith!!!

So many mixed reviews about this place! Overall, it's not a bad spot. The bagels and sandwiches are fresh, made with real ingredients, and reasonably priced. The ambiance is a little...off though. Walking through the door felt like walking into the remnants of an old argument. Somehow uncomfortable without anything happening to make it uncomfortable. I chose to eat in my car. Still, if you are a bagel fan, I recommend trying it at least once. Particularly the egg bagel, toasted with cream cheese.

The guy in there never has a positive attitude. I used to be a regular going in here and the attitude never changes. Very unorganized in taking call orders. I leaving the one star because of the disorganization and the fact I called in one bagel waited 15 minutes to go pick it up. Got there waited another 15 min and watched someone come in order two sandwiches an get his before mine. I was appalled. Save your money an make a higher quality sandwich at home.

The bagels are decent and fresh - they're a little on the fluffy as opposed to chewy spectrum than I prefer, but the texture of the skin is not too thick, not too thin, and they're appropriately large. Bacon / egg / cheese sandwich was just a single egg and a couple strips of bacon, which didn't fill out the bagel, so there were a lot of bites around the outside that were just dough, no filling. Other breakfast sandwiches with more ingredients might have a little better proportions?

This place isn't really my cup of tea, but I'm really glad places like this exist. If the Gilmore Girls lived in Canton, this would be their Luke's Diner. Yes, the owner is a little gruff, but he seems to really care about his community and seems like he's a straight shooter. I think he's probably very successful with the male clientele who seem to be what filtered in and out when I was there. Bagels were very good and I really liked the interesting selection of bottled drinks, local things and some unusual things I hadn't seen before. I was thrilled to get the Harney and Sons lemonade. I liked the murals on the wall. The pricing was all over the map. I felt that what I ordered was super expensive, but when I looked at the menu there were some other areas where I thought he could have charged a little more and made the price of what I got a little less. I personally would have liked to have seen more vegetables on the menu. He made my sandwich with onions when I requested it without, but it was still okay, I could pick them out and they were pretty good. I like to have my eggs alone, and the other sandwich toppings on top. They were all mixed together here, but I realize that others may prefer this. Maybe someday I'll come back for something a little more basic than what I got. I wish this business great success it is a community treasure. I'd also love to see something like a whole grain bagel thin, but somehow I get the sense this guy just won't do that....but he's alright.

We love the bagels here and the way the flavorings cover the top and bottom, so you get awesomeness in every bite -- especially with the Everything bagel. Delicious and creative breakfast sandwich options AND a great place for lunch. Good selections, fresh, top quality. They put together nice assortments for business meetings - breakfast or lunch.
