99 Restaurants

Our second time at this location. It was just ok... we ordered burgers and onion soup... the soup wasn't great, but the burgers and French fries were not bad. The restaurant was almost empty. We spent well over $100 on lunch for 6 people... The service was pretty bad - no water was offered, they forgot to make the soup, we had to ask a few times to bring napkins... while placing the orders, the waitress was kind of insisting on "medium done" burgers for some unknown reason, while I wanted "well done". 🙄 They had a bar code that you need to scan to read the menu on your phone, which was very annoying, as it gave us unnecessary stress and we ended up asking to bring regular menus, which they did. But I wish they would ask first what menu we prefer before making us going crazy trying to get the menues loaded on the phones 🤦‍♀️🙄 Not enjoyable, but frustrating experience, I will not be back unless I am in the area and there is no other choice.

There with my roommate from school. We had not seen each other in 2.5 years. We announced to our servers Kass and Devon that we needed time to catch up - no need to rush! I ordered steak tips cooked medium but unfortunately they came out bloody. I requested they be popped back under the broiler. They came back perfectly medium and we were offered a salad or dessert as service recovery. We weren't rushed, we had attentive service but no hovering, pleasant conversation with Devon and Kass, and one of the nicest 99 meals I have ever experienced. Go 99 in Plymouth! We will be back.
