Dos Margaritas

He went to his restaurant on a Thursday night and it was moderately busy. Our waiter came over after about 15 minutes of us sitting near and asked for our drink order. He never introduced himself and you could barely hear him underneath his mask as he was mumbling. We get our drinks and I found that that 1 of our cups was not washed and had all sorts of things floating in the water. I asked him if he could get us a drink and it took him 10 minutes to bring back a glass of water. At that point we had been there for over 30 minutes and had not yet order. He came back, took our orders and disappear for another 20 minutes. Our food came out and didn't look bad to start. I ordered a chimichanga with ground beef and it came out with steak. Not a big deal but I just asked them if it was possible to remake it with ground beef. He replied that he could not do that and he was very sorry. We had received the check which didn't even have the correct information on it so we paid and were ready to leave. I requested that speak to a manager just so he was aware of the experience and instead of asking how he could correct it he just said next time to ask for Ramon and dinner was on him. He was a very nice guy but we were looking for some corrective action right then and there after this experience there most certainly will not be a next time.

Not sure what has changed here but ordered the chicken soup last night and it was so salty that I had to add ingredients to make it even half way edible. Could not finish it. Chips were greasy and overall I was just not impressed. Used to be one of the best around! did they get a new cook? I'd fire him/her.

I can give no more stars. The food was really great I really enjoyed it. The problem really lies in the customer service. It may be that I went at a bad time (Saturday night) but the staff was more focused on "hanging out" and chatting among themselves than to help the customer. When I walked in the hostess was busy chatting with her Co worker and seemed bothered that I walked in at that time. Once I was seated the waitress started off good by taking my drink and food order, which was shortly brought over by the kitchen staff. but our waitress after taking the order went to the bar to hang out and chat with her Co workers, I never saw her at my table again for another hour and only because she eventually noticed I was staring at the TV in the bar area and got right up to bring me the check.

I have eaten here before and had good food. Not this time. I ordered tamales. With no cheese on anything. What I got was cheese on thw beans and tamales. Thwy did take my meal off our bill. The tamales were dry and flavorless. Most places put a chili or red sauce on the tamales not queso. My advise don't have the tamales.
