Don Quijote

Although beautifully appointed this Spanish restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Starting with the menu... it is impossible to interpret unless you speak fluent Spanish. It also contained just generic stock photos. When I asked the waitress what they were she's kept telling me that they don't serve that. It wasn't much help that our waitress although sweet could barely speak English and was a vegetarian so her dish recommendations were quite limited. So with such little guidance we decided on the appetizer cured meat sampler. It was good but I feel like it could have used some good bread and jam. The lobster bisque was good but nothing special.

I disliked my meal. The prices were high and I was unsatisfied with my meal. I ordered shrimp in garlic sauce. The"sauce" was oil. It was in a pool of oil. My daughter got garlic chicken... Same thing a pool of oil. Most everyone else liked their food, but nobody wanted to take leftovers home. Dessert was good, but I make better at home.

Very disappointed. We really liked the initial atmosphere of the restaurant, it has a nice romantic feel. We were seated right away but were not waited on for close to 10 minutes. We almost left. The menu is very limited. When we ordered we asked for salads, we were not asked what kind of dressing we wanted or asked how we wanted our steak cooked. The salad was very good once it had enough dressing, it was barely a drizzle. The steaks were hard to cut and to chew and the veggies were cold. The manager took care of it but, we are not sure whether we will go back.
