El Campesino

As native Texans, we don’t always try Mexican restaurants in other states, but this place did not disappoint!! We were greeted promptly and seated and we got our drinks very quickly. No less than 5 minutes after ordering, our food was placed before us! My dad ordered the carne asada and I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken. Yum-my! And the peach margarita I had hit the spot!! The carne asada was tender and easy to cut. Hot sauce has good flavor, not hot at all, and the chips are good too. Corn tortillas are homemade! I liked the rice and the cotija cheese on the lettuce. Everything was great!! Both plates were large enough for two people. Would highly recommend for a dinner out.

Came here while trying to kill some time before a meeting nearby at 3:00. Walked in at 1:55 and got our food served by 2:10, so we did not end up killing time like we wanted! The service was FAST and they were all very nice. Food was excellent as well and the wait staff came often to make sure we were satisfied. Loved our experience there.

It's one of our favorite restaurants in Canton. It was one of the few places my kids would eat at when they were little, so we have dined here a lot. Now that they are older, they still love it. The food is consistently good. We've rarely had a bad meal, especially considering how much we eat here. The staff are really nice and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the Enchiladas Campesinos and the Super Burrito. And they have delicious margaritas.
