Steak Escape

Overall this isn't the place to go and get steaks. The Charley's at the Strip has better food and service. Think I'll be staying with that location as it seems this location lacks manners and is very quick to be rude to customers. I wish I could give less stars. Food wasn't fresh or good. Very disappointing.

Went here to grab lunch on Jun 13th. Place was clean, service was quick. They brought our to go order to us. Got it home was hot and looked good. We got the jalapeño steak fully loaded. It was decent, would have liked the onions and jalapeños cooked with the steak and cheese though, not as fresh toppings. Maybe I should have asked about that. The bun could have used some love it was pretty dry even after the ride home. That's when it took a turn for the worse. Picking up the second half I found 2 hairs wrapped up under the sandwich and the wrapper. Kind of lost my appetite after that.

Your food is good but I was at your newest north canton ohio location and was completely grossed out by watching the cashier handle people's money and dishing up fries and other foods with the same plastic gloved hands!!!!!! She did not attempt to change her plastic gloves....I was so grossed out!!!!! Never coming back. I'll go to Penn Station where they are more sanitized for their customers....

Ok so. I love charleys... i was upset when it took over steak escape at belden village mall but they have a similar sandwich that I like so all's well there....today i went there (totally out of my way so i went specifically for this turkey sandwich)... i wait in line.... totally fine.... I get up to the counter and the woman taking my order didnt look at me, basically just rushed me through a simple order.... and apparently asked me if lettuce mayo and tomato is ok on my sandwich.... flustered i said "yes but" and was told to move down.... so they have my bread ready with lettuce, tom, mayo and pickles (pickles absolutely disgust me) I ask "may I please have just mayo on my sandwich".... the man making my sandwich didnt even look at me, sighed...and threw new bread into the toaster as if I had inconvenienced him.... and then everyone had to talk to each other about why I didnt want what they put on bread that I didnt want. I get it... be fast, get people in and out... but this was so rude. I'm in the food service and i wont be back to this location. All i wanted was a turkey sub with provolone and mayo....easy easy easy....I was treated like I was asking for so much... my food was thrown at me without a second look (I really wanted a side of mayo because they barely put any on my sandwich cuz they were annoyed with out 3 seconds of interaction but I felt like I couldn't ask for a simple condiment after the dramatics I witnessed in making a Turkey, cheese and mayo sandwich. Sloppy. Rude and def not the Charlie's I used to love going to.

When i went it was extremely busy. They messed my order up. But i took a survey and told them about my experience and they made it right 110% i will definatly be going back to this location. They love to keep there customers happy and i love business who make things right. Thank you to the owner and Miss Peggy!!! The food is amazing and awesome for the price. See ya soon!!!!
