Casa Lupe

Large portions and fast service is what I would describe them in a nutshell. Firstly, chips were really good, but salsa was a bit too spicy for my taste. They had 2 different kinds, one had jalapenos in it and the other was still spicy. LOL. We ordered drinks and the waitress recommended the Guava margarita which sounded very interesting, which I have not had before - so I ordered that. Came out within minutes and almost as big as my face (my estimation would be about 18x18cm) and there was so much, I wasn't able to finish. It was quite strong too, my boyfriend comment that my nose was red, and I typically don't glow. I order the 2 crab enchiladas ~ my all time go to, when they asked me what sauce I wanted (red/green) I was not able to decided and waitress gave me the option to have both (as pictured, red and green sauce). Also portions were quite generous and came out piping hot in a matter of minutes. My enchiladas were also STUFF with real crab meat. So amazing.

Just okay. The food has always been on the bland side of the scale. I have never had a spicy dish served to me so I ask for a hot salsa when I feel the need for a good burn. Otherwise Casa Lupe serves the standard Tex-Mex cuisine. Portions are good. Price seems a little high but this is Silicon Valley, so who knows.

We love this yummy family owned restaurant, it is comfort food at it's best & the margaritas are tasty...Not that u can do this during COVID but we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. My husband gets the chimichanga & I get the tostada salad but we've had enchiladas, tacos, rice & beans & everything is so good! I highly recommend the guacamole, you won't be disappointed.
