Review Panera Bread - Camp Hill

Advertising works. I saw a picture of their new spicy chicken sandwich somewhere... I needed to have that sandwich. The missus was out, offered to pick me one up, and I was VERY excited. I ordered online... we got two chicken sandwiches, two drinks, and some mac & cheese for the baby which rung up to OVER $40... i have no idea how... but still, I thought... this is going to be so good, it will be worth it. Then the food arrived. Drink was pretty good, it was a mango something or other. But the sandwich was priced $8 too much... that's right, it was a $10 sandwich and garbage. I would take a McDonald's chicken sandwich over this. Never again. You made me sad, I hope you're happy, Mr. Panera.

My family and I typically enjoy our Panera Bread experience however, we were disappointed at this location. Unfortunately, they were fully out of stock of a few items we wanted to try and out of stock of many ingredients in the items we decided to order, such as cucumbers and tomatoes. This was frustrating because everyone had to change their orders from what we originally wanted. We waited about 15 minutes for our food which, was a bit longer than we we expecting to have to wait, as there were only four of us. The food was tasty however, I found a few rouge items in my Baja Bowl including part of a walnut, carrot, and raisin. I am not allergic to any of these items but, I could see how it could cause a problem for someone with an allergy, especially the nut.

I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken bowl. This is what I was given (see photo). I took it back in and asked the young woman making the food if this was actually their standard for this bowl, and she replied “yea.” I implore any reader to compare this bowl to that depicted on the website. After I pulled up the website picture to use for comparison, she replied “yea, yours looks a little sad.” Nothing else. Umm, yea.. I’d agree. I’d give 1/5 but the manager overheard and stepped in. He was incredibly nice and gave a refund. I hope this place can get its act together.

Seriously disappointed. I’ve always loved Panera and I was excited when my work offered to order it for us. There was 7 of us so we knew it would be a little while, but when we placed our order at 11:45 am we were told it would be 12:54 pm til our food was ready. We sent someone to get our food after waiting an hour and it took an additional hour from the time they arrived to get our food. So over 2 hours from the time we ordered until we got our food. On top of that when our food arrived, none of the sandwiches where labeled so we could not distribute the food without opening it. I have an allergy to wheat so I had ordered a salad with no crispy onions and they were mixed all throughout my salad making it inedible for me. I had asked for fruit instead of bread and it was the smallest 1/2 cup portion for $2 more. As an apology for the wait they gave us a few cookies…which I also can’t eat. So after waiting for over 2 hours I get to have some cold soup and a sad fruit cup. I won’t be visiting here again any time soon.

I have attempted to give this location a chance three times now and have been disappointed every time. This last visit my grilled cheese was not toasted and smashed into a wrapper. The croutons were soggy and moist and they forgot a bag of chips. When you complain to the manager they do nothing to remedy the situation.

Our food was good but what stood out most importantly to me was the staff here. The manager Logan was very nice and I enjoyed being serenaded by his singing as he made the food. Anjai cleared our table when we were done even though he didn’t have to and was a very friendly person, he made the cafe feel at home ❤️

Excellent service and food!! The food IS pricey BUT you get what you pay for and it was well worth it. Broccoli Cheddar soup is by far my favorite thing they offer. I'd love to find something better.

Had to wait 20 minutes just to receive a missed drink because it was not put in the order on the first place after paying for it.. Tried to call five times to the store nobody picked up. I gave up and then was staring at their pick up number board so they will come out to serve the next guest. After 20 minutes the person came out to give the order for the other guest when I asked about the drink they went back and got me the drink not a word of apology this is crazy

I would have gone lower if I could. Order food for pick up while at the store were the pick up window is a girl employee stood drinking an ice tea I saw my order was ready. I walked up and my food was gone. Another employee said it was picked up. Wow who does this. The gentleman than said he could make me a bigger sandwich wow I order a whole sandwich what is bigger than a whole one. They made me new food but as the receipt says they will give you something I got nothing but to wait even longer been at this location three times three times the have screwed up wow.

Just came from there always get coffee - there is never any coffee ready around 9:16 . Had coffee this morning made at 8:00 only coffee on one side. They did not bring any more out until around 9:50. We had light roast and it was full of grains, bitter we could not drink it so we left. Lately there is never any coffee, light roast. A lot of money for a cup of coffee that is not very good lately.

Love Panera but rotate the daily soups. I eat there every Friday and have never in my eight years ever tasted some on the menu. And where's the Lemon orzo?

Ordered delivery from this Panera a few times and always had an okay experience until yesterday, a friend and I had stopped in after a brief call in to work. When we first placed our order the cashier was new so it was understandable for it to have taken some time. But to have your order repeated to make sure it was correct to then have the kitchen make mistakes after ordering 40.00 worth of food in one order is slightly unacceptable. Things were forgotten that were ordered seperate and specifically. Asked for extra dressing and peanut sauce for my salad and got neither. Ended up throwing away a whole salad because it was so dry from not having enough dressing. Complete waste of not only money but also my time especially somewhere that I used to like ordering from. Called to complain and got offered a free drink coupon in the mail for ONLY items that were forgotten

I was not happy when I used my short lunch break to pick up my online order at panera, I got back to my office, only to find that they forgot my sandwich. I called 5 times (was even hung up on) before someone answered the phone. I was informed that I had to come in to get refunded. So not only did I not have my sandwich for lunch, but also had to make a second trip back to panera to get a refund that THEY messed up on. Not happy whatsoever. Huge waste of time.

Food was good but horrible service behind the counter. These kids are rude! One played with her hair the whole time... kind of gross when you're getting food.

Went to Camp Hill Mall location. I had the Asian salad with plenty of chicken. Very good salad and service.

Cashiers would rather talk about their weekend plans than get my bagel in a timely fashion. Way crowded. Long lines. And for what, totally average-at-best food. Will Not be visiting any time soon.

Chicken Tortellini Alfredo Why did the chicken taste like ham?

Only bad thing the chicken salad sandwiche barley had any chicken salad it was all bread, if I didn't eat that at home I would have took it back especially for paying 6 bucks! The bread bowl and soup were good.

Walked in and yes it is very busy, but this place is a mess. Something is wrong with the soda machine, no ones fault, but when we find out on our own that the soda is undrinkable, the answer was, yeah we're working on it. Then after asking for new cups, I find that all of the tea selections are either empty or so watered down, they have no taste. I go to the counter to say that someone should put a sign on the soda machine and without even turning around, the answer is, we know, we're working on it, it's been like that all day. Zero customer service, zero courtesy and when you spend over $30 on lunch, you do expect a little more.

Always busy but that's a good thing never disappointed in the food quality one of my favorite places especially this time of year because I'm a soup lover keep up the good work guys.

Good power breakfast sandwich and they always make a very good Cappuccino to drink. Service with a smile.

I had the cream chicken wild rice soup and chicken avocado sandwich and both were very tasty. Before I left I got 2 bagels to go and the girl waiting on me offered to slice them for me. Very good customer service.

Hours on the website and the app say they are open until 10 pm. I drive all the way here looking for some soup because I wasn't feeling well and the doors are locked and lights off before 10. Why post hours if they aren't real??? Very disappointing.

I stopped in for a quick dinner. I ordered from the kiosk. My food was brought to me promptly and the young lady used my name, asked what else I needed and was very pleasant. Camp Hill Panera took technology of the kiosk and turned it into a personal race to face interaction. We'll done.

I've had a chance to eat here twice on my way back from remote schooling. And they really take care of any issues that might arise. Very good management who takes ownership of their place and customers. Thanks!
