El Sol Express

The food is good. Fresh and very tasty. It comes quick and the portions are quite large for the price. However, the employees attitudes leave much to be desired. Been here twice now recently and both times the girl that took our order and the ones that brought out our food were about as pleasant as rectal exploratory surgery. They behaved like it was such a bother to take our order and serve our food. Might want to consider a different job/career if that’s your attitude. I considered giving only 3 stars based on this but the food is why we came and it really was good.

Love this place!! My go-to for a quick bite. Their Enchiladas Mexicanas is my all time favorite. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions we have. Queso dip is awesome! They have a nice menu with many options. Love the salsa bar. We always try to try something new and they never disappoint. Atmosphere is cozy and fun. We will continue to return here!

You can ignore any negative comments I've seen so far. This place always is a favorite for me and my coworkers. The food is always fresh and lots of it. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I've always been amazed by their fresh salads. The lettuce and accompanying vegetables are crisp and flavorful. When I have a favorite restaurant, I usually have one or two favorites I order. Here I always order whatever the special is since every dish I've had is soooo good! The price is really good mostly averaging $9 to $10.

I used to come to El Sol express a couple of years ago. The food was fresh and tasty. I am not a hugely picky person, but imo, it is no longer as good as it used to be. I'm not sure if they changed their cooks recently or their ingredients, but the food was no better than a "Fiesta" day made by a high school lunch lady. While I did eat half of my meal, as I had not eaten anything that day, my guest literally took two bites and pushed the plate away. The nachos we had as an appetizer were almost as good as the ones I make at home, when I put cheese on tortilla chips and put them in the microwave.

This place is horrible. I placed an order at the counter for 3 tacos. It took 17 minutes to receive 3 ground beef tacos! Thats ridiculous. On top of that, I was told when I ordered I'd get a salad. It even says that on the menu. However, I overheard the woman making the food that my order doesn't get a salad. So, I asked her what was going on and she said my tacos are the only ones on the menu that don't get a salad? What!?!? Whatever, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I was so excited to go back here after some time, I was sadly mistaken. Horrible service, cold food and the food had an odd smell. They turned the lights off on us while we were still inside eating at 8:39pm even though the sign says they close at 9pm. Not sure why I thought using the bathroom was a good idea here. It was disgusting, certainly hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Seems like a change in ownership or management, this place use to be good before but I would recommend others to beware. This is not the El Sol we all know and love. :(
