Don't let the outside throw you off! It's a pleasant friendly place with excellent service! A small comfortable place to have a break. Pastries were excellent.

I love going to this cafe. The girls are always so nice and attentive. They know most of their customers by name. The coffee can be a bit strong so I just ask for extra pumps of flavor or whipped cream to help out. The sweets are to die for. The French toast muffin and coffee cake are amazingly delicious. Will definitely return.

Was visiting family in the west Syracuse area and found Rise And Grind through Waze while looking for a coffee shop (hotel coffee just doesn’t cut it). The staff here were amazing and friendly even though it was a little busy at times and the lattes I ordered were well prepared and served quickly and hot. Rise and Grind is in an older shopping center but the restaurant was very clean and well kept and had a usual coffee house vibe. Saw many on computers or phones/tablets so I would assume the WiFi here is decent (I was in and out so didn’t use it). Overall I would highly recommend Rise and Grind to anyone either looking for a quick cup or to hang out for a while or just wanting to skip St***ucks and will definitely return next time I visit Syracuse.

Hands down the best coffee shop in the area. Delicious food and incredible service. The staff is so genuine and really makes you feel welcome. I find the pricing to be on par or even slightly less than you would normally pay at a local coffee shop too. Highly recommend.

Had a great coffee and muffin on Saturday at the Township 5 location. An hour after leaving I realized my wallet had fallen out of my pocket. I returned to the shop just before closing and the barista had it ready waiting at the register for me with everything intact as she found it while cleaning up. Fantastic customer service!
