Grits were a little to salty. However, the rest of the food was hot and taste great. The food was served in a timely manner, but the waitress was terrible. She spent most of her time talking to a customer. Great price, considering the amount of food I received and a military discount was credited towards my bill.

I was really hoping, expecting a better quality of food. Now before you think its slander, its not. It just wasnt what I had expected. I had the calabash chicken sandwich, the hype on calabash may be what made my meal less than desirable. The tots were a bit old/cold too. The service was great because I had decided to sit at the bar, seemed a longer wait being served. Im more of a bar guy anyways, maybe because I bartended for years, its a comfort zone for me. (Not an alcoholic, fyi).

We went there last night. It wasn't too crowded, but still quite a few people. I ordered the sirloin, med rare, which is the only steak they offer. The steak was quite tough and rare. It was covered in kosher salt which made it almost too salty. I asked for a baked potato and it was almost raw. They brought another potato that was just right. The poppy rolls were great. My husband got the popcorn shrimp and fries. They were both good, but the shrimp had a lot of just batter pieces fried. That made you think there were a lot of shrimp. The total cost for this meal was $42.00. To me this is a little pricey for a meal that wasn't that memorable.

I dined in. The food took forever to come and I was quite surprised by the small portions but large prices. I had fried pork chops that turned out to be dry and hard. The fish portions and taste was amazing (I ate my daughters). The waitress was a bit snippy. Just a few sly comments that shouldn't have been made. I like Fatz but think I'll try a different one.

The waitress was upfront and honest about the longer than normal wait time to be seated due to being short-staffed. Despite having six or seven tables full our waitress was phenomenal. Order was taken in a timely fashion. Not a long wait time for food. And our waitress attended to everything we needed additional.
