Safeway Deli

Let's start off by saying the parking lot is really busy, and hard to find a spot. Once in a spot you make your way to front door. Inside is a bit cluttered and kind of hard to navigate, the deli is a bit small and the chicken seems to be kinda old and the skin is falling off. Deli meat is mostly out of stock. Produce section is really clean and open produce section seems like it's stocked well. There is a pharmacy inside this store. I wouldn't say this store is bad nor good somewhere in the middle. So I will give it three stars.

What can I say. Safeway has a much better meat selection than the competition, their food is freaking fresh! They will bend over backwards to please their customers. I have used the Safeway in Vancouver for 20 years and love them! They always have fresh cut flowers, and they always have the coolest import products like “pick-a-peppa “ this is a Jamaican table sauce kinda like A-1 steak sauce in the US. But far tastier!

Pretty standard. Can get a little bit busy or crowded with slow service in the lines, as does any Safeway. Customer service is pretty friendly and I think the cashiers I've been helped by have tried their best. Decently-stocked. In a good area, convenient whether you need a quick buy or want to do all your grocery shopping in one place.

Do not buy produce here. Over the last 6 months the produce at Safeway is garbage. Oh and also they want you to mask up, but then require anyone who wants the sale prices to whip out their dirty phone and read barcodes that are often directly over the food. And to top it all off the Just 4 u cupins you have to do this for only actually apply half the time. The staff is kind and helpful but the Idiotic decisions by management have made this my second to last option for groceries.
