Starbucks

This place is great, really. It's a Starbucks and you know we need coffee! With a large indoor area with plenty of seating as well as several outdoor seating options. The baristas are, (usually), all very cordial and polite. One point I would make is, that sometimes they make errors on some drinks that they have been told more than 4 or 5 times, how to correct and make right. But this is not enough to bring the review rating to a 4. Great location too, just off the freeway and central to Camarillo.

Service was pretty poor here during the previous visit. I ordered in person and almost left the store without receiving some bakery goods which the baristas did not provide until I reminded them. If the store had been busy I'd be more forgiving, but the store was slow and the staff seemed more concerned with performing backend tasks and chatting amongst themselves than providing customer service. Location is convenient, not having a drive through is a negative, but the atmosphere of the location makes up for that. Hopefully in the future a better review can be left.

They got my order wrong two days in row. The exact same order. To be fair, they messed it up in uniquely different ways each time. I don’t recommend ever eating or getting coffee in Camarillo. This city breeds a special kind of stupidity and ineptitude that leaves you wondering why you paid someone for what amounts to more or less lukewarm water.

Have you guys noticed when you order a venti they never fill it up all the way? I always get the iced green latte and they never fill it up all the way up because of the foam. The foam sets and so I’m left with 1/5 of the venti cup empty. How insane is this? It is at every Starbucks location now! Managers need to get on it and have baristas make more so we don’t have to pay for the emptiness of the foam! Thanks!

They frequently get my order wrong but most are willing to remake it. Some WILL give you an attitude but some are okay with it. The worst type of people seem to congregate here for whatever reason. A lot of homeless who make a scene, and creepy men who stare and make me uncomfortable. I go to the starbucks farther from me because I'd rather go to any other location besides this one purely because of the clientele it brings in. Those who cause scenes are never asked to leave.
