This is a cluttered mess with ok food. Service is amazing though. Ordered the ham eggs Benedict, toast was ok but very salty along with hollandaise sauce being uneventful. Home fries were a little over cooked. This is cash only.

Totally mom and pop from the 70s soul-food style. Friendly local staff, walls covered in funny bumper stickers. Great breafast/brunch at reasonable "California" price. Toast is perfectly toasted. Eggs perfectly poached. Blueberry streussal French toast had an almost fried dough taste that is well-paired with the boisenberry syrup.

I'm from out of town so I only had one experience here. I can tell you the coffee was very good as was the Salmon Benedict. Owners were super nice and I would definitely return.

It's been longer than we liked to try Dorothy's, mostly because it's cash only. We finally did and we loved it. All your breakfast favorites at great prices. Can't wait to go back.

I've been going to this place for 50 years ever since Bonnie and Jess owned it. The food is great, the service is fast and everything is cooked to order. Downtown near Arneill,the trolley stop is close by. Friendly staff and the coffee is very good
