We had a great dinner, I had the Roasted 1/2 chicken and my husband had the lasagna. Both were delicious. It was Friday evening, later after 9pm which is late for dinner, so a bit loud at times. Service was good, if not great.
We ordered a veggie sandwich and pasta with salmon. They were both delicious and served in a timely manner. For appetizers we had grilled artichoke which was tender and tasty and avocado toast with shrimp that was both visually appealing and delightfully delicious.
Great food, charming bar and dining area, excellent service. We had the braised pork shoulder with spinach and mashed potatoes and the pesto chicken pasta. Absolutely perfectly portioned and delcious
We enjoyed drinks and a late lunch outside on a Sunday. Good food, efficient service, and a nice, central location.
Our truffle fries, pastas, and pizzas were nice. The mussels were a little small and the portion was somewhat skimpy.
Up in Calistoga to take my pal'et Maybelline Deville out for some BBQ at Buster's but she wasn't feeling up to having grilled meats, she said a salad from the Hydro Grill will suit her just fine. I was kind of glad because Buster's was wall to wall bikers out on a run, and it would have been a two hour wait. The Hydro Grill has a ton of options and great food, and no matter what you order, it'll be 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.
Had dinner with a friend here and was pleasantly surprised by the menu. Lots of options for every palette and whatever you're feeling like. No bad choices and the food was good.
They had a jazz band / singer who were fantastic.
If you're looking for a casual place, easy feeling, lovely people and service, this place absolutely works.
Stopped in for a quick drink and blam ended up with a couple drinks appetizers and a little concert. The bartender lady moved quickly and she was very friendly and helpful. Really nice atmosphere and open.
Lovely food, great service and live music, well worth a visit if you're in Calistoga.
Nice casual place with friendly service. Everything we ate was great, the bruschetta appetizer, the salmon salad, the beef stew and tiramisu for dessert were all very good.
Casual bar and grill type of place. I do recommend their “burger contest winner” hamburger. Fries were crisp and fresh. Wife loved her Mac & Cheese & Bacon. The roasted nuts appetizer was a good start also.
5 stars all around for so many reasons! Not only were the views amazing, but the food was delicious. And after a fantastic meal with great company, I mistakingly left my prescription glasses at the table. Noticing this mistake a few hours into the road trip back home, I called Hydro Grill to ask if I could give my credit card over the phone to pay for them to ship them to me. It took no time for the staff to assure me that not only did they find my glasses but were also ready to ship them back to my house AT NO CHARGE! Huge thank you to the staff at Hydro Grill. Will definitely be stopping by next time I'm in Napa.
There food was pretty good. The drinks were good. I had an espresso martini which i enjoyed and some good wine. The atmosphere was cool as well. Nice bar, relaxed vibe and the music was not too loud so we were able to talk.
