Bob's Big Boy

Came here for the first time yesterday, and it was totally not what we were expecting. I had the impression that it was a fast food place, and I signed up for their email mailing list to get a free burger. Went in to get my free burger and quickly realized it was NOT fast food; it's a diner! Has a nice, old-timey feel, similar to Ruby's. Nice booths, good atmosphere. Our server was a lady who said she's been a manager there for 15 years. She was really nice, gave us good recommendations, and was patient and friendly. She didn't mind at all that we were using coupons for two free things. The Big Boy burger was just like a Big Mac - nothing special and not worth the price. But the Southwest burger (with guacamole) was DELICIOUS! I have a feeling that all their special burgers are great. Saw the $11 breakfast buffet - looked like such good value for money that we want to come back for that. The owner said we had to actually purchase something to use the free burger coupon. We decided not to argue, but the fine print didn't say anything about that, so we probably could have fought it.

Chili spaghetti. Nuff said. Ask for the onions. So here's the thing. I've past by this place on my way home from California to Arizona many times. This last time I decided to give it a go and stop by. Did not regret. Huge portions of genuinely good food. The crazy brownie, ice cream, fudge bundle of goodness is a must try. They offered a half portion for my spaghetti which was nice because it's still quite the trek to AZ from here. Definitely stopping next time I'm road tripping as well.

Stop by for breakfast, it was delicious!! Everything taste Perfect... This meal hit the spot! It was just right for being in a hurry. Breakfast buffet even had Menudo..which is super rare BUT excellent for a Saturday morning. I truly enjoyed their biscuits and gravy. I will never again judge my Son for loving dessert. This was completely out of my character for me, I enjoyed a few of the desserts after breakfast....THX!!
