Classic Kitchen Restaurant

The seasoning on their fries is amazing. Their burgers are as good as Culver's. The gyro is fantastic. The chili dog, slaw dog etc is very good and has a great bun. The waiters are polite and have manners. If unsolicited advice were accepted, it would be to add some background music so it's not so quiet and to shampoo the chair cushions. This place is a small local business that you should go to.

Good food and kind staff. This is a local restaurant, that is just off a main road. So travelers don't really notice it, but the locals do. Much of the food is fried, but they have salads and other options. There are good options for all meal courses. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice. The food is served quickly. Literally to your table just after it is cooked and it is smoke piping hot. The fried mushrooms are good whole mushrooms. The wings are actually wingettes. They do give extra for the size. But still...wingettes. There is some nice outside seating as well as inside seating. You'll do better here than most others in this area. Prices are reasonable.

Our absolute favorite in Calhoun! Possibly the best Chicken Philly sandwich I've ever eaten! My husband loves the Gate Burger and the Rib eye steak is fabulous. These are about the only entrees we can attest to because they're our favs. Need to venture out and try something else on the menu. I'm certain it would be great as we've never gotten anything we didn't like. Service is excellent!

After reading all the reviews was very disappointed. Sever was so so, mostly sandwich menu. Philly steak sandwiches she recomend were over cooked and crispy. Very dry. The cashier wore a Mexican restaurant tshirt. He said he was just helping them out. Talking about a guy changing their signs. Maybe new owners bought the place. Not sure but I would NOT reccomend going there.

The crab ball appetizers are a must! Follow up with a shrimp po boy and the helpings will challenge you to be able to finish. Delicious food and a caring family run business. The slaw is homemade and reminds me of my mom's. I was travelling when I found this little gem and may have to make a special trip to go again!
