Really good sandwiches. They aren't shy with the meats by no means. I would suggest if you get a sandwiche that has any kind of dressing, to get it on the side unless you want to bathe in it. So far, that's been our only complaint. My favorite so far(I forget the name but I think it's Alpine or something like that) has ham, onion, cream cheese with ranch powder, cheese & cucumbers on beautiful rye bread. So good! Our 1st time we were talking to the owner a we paid and he told us the story of how C & J came about. Most if not all of what is served(other than the meat) came from his grandmother who owned a (was it a deli or a bistro or a bodega??🤔🤔) in NY. Be sure to try the Robert Redford pie!! The slices is HUGE and contrary to how it looks, it isn't overly rich & sweet.

It is a huge mistake not to eat here if you're in Calhoun! We were passing by and stopped in and got a Reuben and a Chicken Salad Sandwich (both vegetarian) and it blew my mind. It makes me so happy to see restaurants make a real effort to offer QUALITY vegetarian food! This place is so good, and there are so many options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike
