Sonic Drive-in

On 04/09/22 as a family we ordered a Cherry limeade, chocolate shake, strawberry shake, and fry. We ordered at 9:35 and received our order at 10:05. I’m not sure if it would have taken longer if we didn’t hit the button asking about our order. After asking about our order we received our order about 5 minutes later. We were about to leave. Several people got their orders before us. This was about my third time there in two, no problems before this time. Our fries were completely cold. We were just happy to leave.

Got there at 4 it was the end of the happy hour. They were understaffed and we didn't get to order until we had been there 20 minutes. We decided to leave after finding out we had to wait another 30 minutes to get anything ice cream. Of course all we wanted was ice cream. I understand being super busy and understaffed, but damn I wanted the brownie batter master milkshake 😫 maybe next time.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered ahead and had issues. Both times they forgot food items. Last time my condiments as well. Last time it was just a couple corn dogs this time it was a 3 PC Chicken strips meal!! The onion rings are so burnt they are not edible! I live 15 miles away and cannot make a special trip all the way back to caldwell to get items and replacements. So frustrated that I drive to town for a quick meal for the family on a Saturday and I end up eating a sandwich because my moms food was not there and so inedible I gave her mine! Done with Sonic I don't care if the drinks are 1/2 price on the app, NOT WORTH the headache and frustration.

Who in their right mind would order pretzel sticks without the cheese sauce. Your pretzel sticks suck. The whole point of ordering the pretzel sticks is for the cheese sauce. This restaurant consistently forgets the most basic things. I’ve tried this location three times now and have something wrong with my order every single time. Sucks because I like their slushes but I’m done literally wasting money and not receiving items I ordered.

Once again they aren't open. This is twice now. No one in sight, store lights on, call and no one answers. No signs stating they were closed. Manager should calling their opening employees to make sure their on shift. I know it's not the managers fault, but whoever should have opened the restaurant this morning needs fired or written up 🤷‍♀️

I am very impressed with their bacon double cheeseburger! It's very large, very meaty, and very tasty, with real bacon - it's so big it's tough to finish! I tried it at two different locations (Nampa & Caldwell) and both of them delivered the same results - even more impressive! Tots are good too, my wife wasn't a huge fan of the fries, but she really enjoyed her bacon cheeseburger as well.
