Kind of found this place by accident. It feels like the middle of nowhere but it's right outside of Byron Center, Michigan. When I first pulled in, there were so many motorcycles that I wondered if there was a run going on but, then I realized that they don't usually have motorcycle runs on a Wednesday night. Cute little place. Hometown style. I can't speak much for the food because I only had an appetizer and a couple of White Claw. The jalepeno cheese balls that I did have were delicious. The bartender Becky?? was very friendly. I would definitely go back. They do have an outside seating area as well but I didn't go out there. There were a couple of cute signs in the ladies room and a liitle basket of necessities, which I thought was nice.
Passing through and stopped for dinner. Haven't been here in years!Still a homey bar environment. Sit at a bar, booth, or table (I chose a booth). Waitress took my order right away and checked on me several times during my meal. Steak, potato, salad, and garlic toast. Steak was perfect.
This place typifies American Restaurant. Service is great, affordable meals and great menu variety. A true diamond in the rough. Worth the journey to this country restaurant!!
Food was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and my husband loved the deep fried tacos! This was our first time here and I have to say, the service was some of the best service we have had at a restaurant in a long , long time. The one and only thing we can maybe say negative is that the cod was a little over cooked, but not to the point of being inedible. It was still ok. We will definitely be back to try again !!!
The place was packed Friday Night Great Entertainment. More a local pub than a restaurant. Fish was frozen not fresh more focused on serving drinks than serving food.
Good food and atmosphere. Also, it was good to catch up with Missy, who always treats us like old friends.
Clean, off from recent interior remodeling, a great little bar with country atmosphere. Fantastic food, and friendly staff. Very popular Friday and Saturday nights. Well worth the trip to North Dorr.
Happened to see an old friend was playing music there on a Friday night. Spontaneously rounded up another couple and headed out with my wife. Service was good, friendly, and stayed on top of our drink needs. Drinks were fair priced. Menu is a little narrow, sandwiches, burgers and a couple of salads during the week. Weekends add a steak/shrimp option. No substitutes on the entrees, no veggies, just choice of potatoes. Steak was a bit past medium, and a little chewy in spots for $27.. Newer owners, they are trying. We will definitely be back.
Small town Tavern. Great place. Live music always good. Food and drinks are always great.
Service is very good.
Walked in to place order for takeout. Had a seat while I waited and food was up real fast. Service was fast and friendly.
