A great place for a beer and dinner. its a fun place . good food friendly wait staff
good food!
Food was very good and filling, staff was very friendly and the place was really clean. Highly recommend the fish tacos in the chicken wet burrito
On the outside this place looks like every other building. However you step inside and it transforms into what feels like the inside of a large log cabin that someone has then transformed into a bar and dinning room. I loved the atmosphere.
I ordered the Whiskey Tavern Burger ($15.50). This has bacon, haystack onions, Jack Daniels BBQ, and chipotle jack cheese. This burger was phenomenal. Melts in your mouth goodness. I devoured the burger and seriously considered ordering another. This burger has just cracked my Top 3 burgers in Grand Rapids. Perfectly cooked with the perfect toppings. The accompanying fries were good, just nothing special.
The service was good and friendly.
Overall a perfect 5 star review. Would I return? I'll be back very soon!
We’ve come to this location a few different times and we’ve had good service and we’ve had bad service. We decided to stop there today and we had really good service. I think it just depends on who you get. I needed something gluten-free and they have a cauliflower crust pizza that is gluten-free. It was good. I felt like the crust fell apart as we were cutting up the pieces but it was nice to have the gluten-free option. My husband got the whiskey tavern burger and he absolutely loved it. You can’t go wrong with the burgers here. That is what my husband gets every time and they are always very good.
Love the BLT and homemade Kettle Chips. I sat on the deck area outside and it was very enjoyable, food was great and my server Cameron was a total rock star! ✨✨✨
Always great food, variety, service!
My son took me to lunch for Mother's day..got a carnation ❤ sweet gesture & as always good food. Outside dining is open today.
Additional visit, got the chicken tenders & fries. It was 3 very large chicken strips & oversize portion of fries! I had leftovers.
A group of our friends gather at Pete's regularly on Friday nights. The hometown atmosphere is great and we adore our server, Abby. She remembers our names and has our drinks to the table almost as we sit down since she has learned us and what we like. We request to sit in her section every week. She's amazing. The food is great. Sometimes it takes a long time from start to finish but we don't mind because the company is great and we are having a good time. :)
First time going to Pete's Grill & Tavern - they did not disappoint! Their service was great, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend!
Thankful we have Pete’s as part of BC. We find ourselves here frequently and often meet friends there. Abby & all of staff takes such good care of us each week. And the variety on the menu lets us switch orders up frequently (highly recommend their burgers!).
What a great burger! Service was quick, and waitress was very attentive. The Whiskey Tavern with bacon, sweet tangy BBQ sauce and onion straws cooked to perfection with a large order of fries on the side. Would highly recommend this burger and establishment.
All in all, I enjoyed my experience at Pete's Grill and Tavern. We'd never been there before so we thought we'd give them a try.
We both tried their French Dip sandwich. Was surprisingly very good. My mom got their onion rings, while I tried their chips.
She liked the onion rings. I wasn't that crazy about chips honestly. They were supposed to have ranch seasoning on them but if they did I couldn't taste it.
The chips were decent enough on their own though.
I want to try their wet burrito some time. But I don't know if they use red enchilada or something else. I'd prefer red enchilada sauce.
I was visiting so I forgot to get food photos. But...the adults got variations of the wet burritos. All were delicious. Mine had blackened chicken which was very tasty. The chile topping was very flavorful though not hot. The kids meals were really good especially the chicken tenders.
The menu is diverse and includes various pizza, sandwiches, wraps, some Mexican food, burgers and other items. There is a full service bar
We sat out on the patio which was very nice and relaxing. There is at least one heater but temp was 65ish so we didn't need it.
The servers were great and very accommodating of our group.
Located in downtown Byron Center.
We've been going there for years though I've been away for awhile. When asked where I wanted to meet, Pete's was my first choice.
