Very good food they have ! It’s a hidden place so a bit hard to find terrible location cause of it lol! I ordered a cheese burger and it was very satisfying! I should have have asked for onions cause it doesn’t come with it but I have some at home. Anyways very good satisfying burger I’m very pleased ! Cashier is very friendly but why do they cook food by themselves? Interesting anyways I’m satisfied lol
Tried this place after seeing it featured in an article as being the best fried chicken in the DC area. Not sure if that's true but it is very good. Funny thing is we have noticed this place for years as we frequently eat at another restaurant in the same parking lot. This place sits back off the road so you would never notice it. We would always ask how is this place still open without being noticed. Well after tasting the chicken now we know. Can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. Would definitely recommend.
We picked up a 20 piece meal a few days back and were pleased with the quality of the food. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and tasted great. Anytime we're in the area, Chicken Basket would be on my list for takeaway food!
I've been frequenting this location for about ten years now, and it's still a reliable place to get halal fried chicken at a decent price point. Fair warning that it's a bit difficult to access the store because of the roads in the area, but I can completely guarantee that it's worth it for the big pieces of juicy chicken you'll be receiving! I'd also recommend getting a box crinkle cut french fries with your chicken— it makes the dish feel all the more complete!
Ordered two chicken dinners on 7/20/18. Our dinners were delicious, even the coleslaw that came with the meals was good. The total price for the dinners was reasonable too. Three things I do not like is their location and they do not have enough parking spaces. You have to drive behind another restaurant to get to this Chicken Basket location. They also share parking with another restaurant. You can not see their establishment from the main road. I like going to this location because the folks who take your orders over the phone are nice and repeat your orders back to you. They also alert you on the time of when your order would be ready.
The food is great and the kitchen is really clean and the owner is very kind. 100% recommend
WOW! A local establishment, It has been around for a long time, and I just discovered them!! A little off the road, It is sure worth to try!! they do have quality food! The Fried Chicken was very Crispy with a very fresh, Yummy Taste! If you don't like the wait until your fried chicken is ready, I do recommend to call a head. The Place is Clean, and there is no way not to notice that. Next time I will try the Lamb Gyro, while I was waiting for the Chicken, I noticed the Rotisserie Gyro Machine Spinning!
I recently ordered a large quantity of chicken from Chicken Basket In Burtonsville, MD. I already knew they had delicious chicken so I am letting you know this is the place to go. I walked in and was greeted and told before I could ask that my pre order was ready. No waiting if you pre order. He was just taking it out the fryer. The pan of foil wrapped chicken stayed piping hot all the way to my destination (30 minute drive).The chicken was crispy and moist (even the breast pieces were moist). Stop by when you feel like some good ole home cooked tasting seasoned chicken. The seasoning was on point and I love crispy skin on chicken. I will return again and again for my orders. Local fast food joint specializing in Fried Chicken and chicken wings along with various kinds of Chicken sandwiches. Also sells Chicken and Beef Gyros. The quality is good and the food is fresh. Mostly a take out place. I believe it offers home delivery as well.
The fried chicken is sooooooo delicious. I was pleasantly surprised, it was my first time getting food from here. I suggest take out since the place is small and has few tables. But so yummy.
