Incredible experience at Lovage last night and the tasting menu is not the one to be missed. We started with the freshly baked granary bread with marmite butter and the crispy shell. They were both out of this world. The highlight of the day was the Bloody Mary sorbet that came with the tomatoes and they were such a good combo. Halibut was well cooked and loved the flavour profile with the sapphire. 3 desserts within the menu which was unusual but each one of them were made to perfection. I love the pineapple dish but the last yogurt one was something to look forward to. Refreshing and light finish to a summer evening.

A stunning culinary experience is all I can say. Food was stunning from start to finish as you'd expect. Staff were adept in their skills and descriptions. There was nothing to detract from a fantastic evening. Visit, you have nothing to lose.

What can I say apart from one of the best food experiences of my life, up there with the River Cafe in Brooklyn & several other Michelin rated restaurants. The food was sublime, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The wine pairings were perfect. Will we be back? Definitely & with lots of our foodie friends.

Tonight we walked into this restaurant at 8.30pm hoping to celebrate a birthday as our hotel had closed their kitchen early unbeknown to us. We had a truly beautiful meal, great produce, well cooked and presented to a very high standard, accompanied by exceptional service. Thank you so much for making our night.

My partner and I visited Lovage in March for the taster menu and wine flight. It was a fantastic experience. The quality and flavour of the food was outstanding. The wine selection was great, and the service from the front of house team was exceptional. We loved it.

We had a truly wonderful meal at Lovage on Thursday January 20th. The whole experience was one that we would highly recommend. Great service from staff who seemed to take great pride in the food that the chef had cooked.
Exquisite food served in a relaxed environment.
We live 3 hours away but can’t wait for our next visit.
